About this game
Pure Hearts is a social sandbox MMORPG where every player becomes part of a living world. Choose your own path, help develop your city, master a profession, and shape the fate of the entire Kingdom.
Become a blacksmith, merchant, farmer, hunter, or warrior. Improve your crafting abilities or strengthen your combat skills. Your actions determine your opportunities, social status, personal needs, and contribution to the prosperity of your city. Explore a vast open world filled with opportunities for discovery and growth. Mine valuable resources, hunt wild animals in dense forests, cultivate fertile lands, and venture into dungeons with unique rewards. Complete tasks from citizens through the city board, earn your first coins, and gather rare materials for crafting.
Each city has its own hierarchy and social roles. Find your place in society and become an important part of the economy and everyday life of the settlement. Trade goods, supply food to citizens, craft equipment, or defend your city from enemy attacks. Social interaction and cooperation between players are at the heart of the experience.
The intuitive interface makes the world easy to learn even for new players, while basic resources remain valuable throughout the entire game. This allows newcomers to compete on the market even after the season has already begun.
Every few months, a new season begins on the servers. Players adapt to balance changes, rebuild cities, and develop fresh economies. At the end of each season, large scale wars for power begin. Cities prepare for sieges, conquer neighboring territories, and fight for domination over the entire map. Victory belongs to the Kingdom that succeeds in taking control of the whole world.

Hey everyone, and welcome to the first Pure Hearts dev blog.Pure Hearts is a multiplayer online RPG set in a persistent medieval-fantasy world, and it's built around one idea we couldn't stop thinking about: cities that actually compete with each other, season after season, with real players deciding who comes out on top.You pick a city and you help it win. How you help is up to you. Maybe you're out in contested zones holding the line. Maybe you're the crafter everyone relies on for gear. Maybe you run tasks, trade, gather, or organize a guild that turns a hundred solo efforts into one war machine. There's no "useless" playstyle here, because a city wins on the strength of everything its people do, not just its best fighters.We've also thrown out a few MMO habits we never liked. There are no character levels and no locked-in classes. Your power and your identity come from what you build, the gear you wear and the weapons you wield, and you can change that whenever you want.We're in closed testing right now, so things are rough in places and we're changing them fast. That's kind of the point. We'd rather build this in the open, with players, than disappear for three years and hope we guessed right.Over the next few posts we'll dig into the cities, the zones, combat, loot, the economy, and how seasons work.
