About this game
In a forsaken world of radiation and secrets, one AI stands between salvation and collapse. Explore Toska, a haunting nuclear labyrinth, where the echoes of the past meet an otherworldly twist. Can you outsmart the unknown and save us all?
Step into NODE: The Last Favor of the Antarii, a 2.5D puzzle-platformer set in the decaying heart of a Cold War nuclear complex. You command NODE, an autonomous AI, tasked with navigating a Soviet ruin teetering on the edge of catastrophe. Plan your moves, sequence commands, and master timeline-based puzzles to unravel a cosmic mystery that holds humanity’s fate. Every choice shapes the story, every retry sharpens your strategy.

Two ways to play, one set of puzzles. Sequence your actions across a timeline, planning each jump, switch, and dodge before NODE executes the run. Retry, refine, and get it right. Or take direct, real-time control in the new Platformer Mode. The puzzles stay the same. The way you tackle them is up to you.

Set in a haunting Soviet nuclear facility from the Cold War era, where history collides with eerie sci-fi. Blending 2D and 3D, the game’s realistic graphics, rich visual storytelling, and intricate level design create a world steeped in secrets, bathed in dynamic lighting, and filled with chilling, atmospheric sound.

Engage with branching dialogues that blur the line between free will and programmed response. Shape your path through conversations monitored, manipulated, and remembered. In NODE, your decision isn’t just heard. It’s recorded.

NODE rewards those who look closer. Beyond its surface lies a network of hidden challenges, secret paths, and layered narratives waiting to be uncovered by those who question the obvious. Every detour offers deeper insight into the world’s history and architecture, inviting puzzle-solvers to dig beneath the noise and discover what others overlook.

Celebrating One Year in Toská - 60% off
One Year in Toská NODE turns one on 28 August. To celebrate, the game is 60% off for the two weeks leading up to its anniversary, with the sale ending on 28 August itself. Two of us built NODE over seven years of evenings and weekends around our day jobs. A year after release, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been part of that journey. The people who bought NODE in its first weeks, with nothing to go on but a trailer and a strange-sounding idea. You took a chance on us before we had much to show for it. The people who wrote the long reviews, especially the critical ones. A surprising number of those reviews turned directly into fixes. The game is better and more finished because you took the time to explain where it lost you. Everyone in the Discord and Steam discussions who kept asking for a way to play without the timeline. That's Platformer Mode, which shipped with Update 1.1. It exists because you asked for it, not because we had planned it. The creators and streamers who put NODE on camera and let strangers watch someone fail a plan seven times before finally getting it right. That's a difficult thing to make watchable, and you did it. The people who told a friend. Word of mouth is still one of the biggest ways players find NODE. Everyone who posted a review. Every single one helps more than you might think. If you haven't been in Toská yet NODE is a 2.5D puzzle-platformer set in an abandoned Soviet plant in Siberia that was put back on the map by a radiation surge in 2034. In Timeline Mode, you don't directly control NODE. Instead, you lay out jumps, switches, and other commands on a timeline, then run your plan and discover whether it was actually as good as you thought. If that's not your thing, Platformer Mode gives you direct control while keeping the same world and story. The 60% discount runs until 28 August, the day NODE turns one. Thank you for being here for the first year. We couldn't have made it this far without you. ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Lapsus Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch v1.1.315
- Platformer Mode: NODE's steering has been rebuilt. Lane changes are now faster, cleaner and far more predictable, with no more overshooting the lane or getting stuck between lanes. - Platformer Mode: blocked lane changes (when something is in the way) now read much more clearly, with much less wobble and no leftover drift afterwards. - Fixed controls being reversed (pressing Left steering Right) after dying while travelling to the right. - Fixed NODE's head staying locked looking down after passing a checkpoint, when the thing it was looking at was no longer there. Timeline Mode is unaffected by these changes. Plan execution behaves exactly as before. Thank you to everyone who reported these issues, please keep the feedback coming :) Lapsus GamesRead full article on Community Announcements (Lapsus Games)Patch NotesOfficial
