About this game
Magic is retreating from the land of Kal Torlin and shadows once again begin to move across the land. You embody the sorceress Raven, Lakmir the Timeless’ great-great-granddaughter, on her quest to restore the ancient magic to its rightful place. Equipped with nothing more than Lakmir’s Chrono-Orb and accompanied by your sarcastic companion, Yorick, you make your way toward the source of the blight – Castle Shadowgate.
Devious monsters and cleverly crafted puzzles await you within the legendary castle. To defeat these dark denizens that bar your way, you will need to build your storybook and learn six schools of powerful spells. Interpreting the stories and combining and mastering the spells will be the difference between a swift victory or an untimely death.
So take courage! Although darkness awaits within Shadowgate and the Grim Reaper stalks its ancient halls, you will prevail! You must! For the fate of Kal Torlin rests upon your stalwart shoulders!

Fixed the missing Black Eye model in the hint window. Fixed a soft lock that occurred when the player saved the game after completing the puzzle involving Behemoth's ribs. Fixed an issue where the Tree Spirit target did not disappear after its death. Fixed achievement-related issues. Fixed a soft lock that blocked the game when the player ran out of bolts while using the crossbow. Fixed a missing entry about the Flesh Dragon in the book. Adjusted the Djinn's HP in the final fight to 200. Fixed an issue where Djinn’s orbs in the final fight could not be attacked with the Winter Grasp spell. Fixed a bug that could prevent the riddle from displaying in the book if it was not opened before the end of the first Djinn fight. Optimized visual effects on the Courtyard map. Added translation for the close button in hints. Fixed a bug that could make it impossible to interact with the Djinn (may require revisiting a blocked location with mysterious magic or, unfortunately, starting a new save in some cases). Eliminated some save/load issues. Fixed a bug that prevented the relevant story in the book from being crossed out. Fixed an issue where the Player GUI would not appear if the player lost focus on the game at a specific moment (e.g., using Alt+Tab). Slightly nerfed the final boss.
