About this game
The August Before is a meditative narrative 3D puzzle about cleaning up, sorting out and packing up your life
before moving on.
Teenage love, first losses, and notes from friends are scattered in the corners: explore the details of the heroine's
life, pack up the life you will take with you, and say goodbye - if you can.
And remember - you can't take the past with you.
Pack your life
Clean up the room before leaving, find the necessary items, and pack them in a suitcase.
Keep track of the diary, change the music, arrange the objects, and try to remember
not to disturb the dark corners of the room.
Brush the dust off your past
Sort through the items and appreciate the resulting order and the details of the story that unfolds in the process.
Explore the chaos and enjoy your freedom to drag, erase, disassemble, break, and fix things
in the highly interactive space.

Bug-fixes: The August Before
WE HAVE ARRIVED TO THE SECOND PATCHfirst of all: YOU ARE MAGNIFICENT. thank you for playing our game. thank you for your bug reports please keep em coming. Here are a couple of important fixes that are availiable now:SNOWGLOBE! is now fixed. Bug with figurines not attaching to base, glass globe not assembling, puzzle not finishing - all should be well, however if you are still having troubles please bug report it. Do not suffer in silence.FORGET THE STARS is now fixed. Objects with stars now appear in all cases.BUTTERFLY IN AUGUST ROOM works now, pixelhunting removed. There might still be some issues with attaching it but we are working on itCOLLISIONS IN IVY"S ROOM fixed as much as we could, it has been a long and miserable fight with unreal engine. TIPS: WHILE WE ARE FIXING COLLISIONS if you have an object fallen into something else, save the game and reload. All objects that dont have places yet will return back to their original spots, including the ones you lost In the next patch: Exlibris still bugging out sometimes, code panels for boxes not working, collisions, painting issues.
