Here's what's coming in the next couple of weeks!

Hi! We have just released an update (0.1.0) which showcases our new upgrade system. This was just a small step towards the gameplay we have been planning and work has begun on the next update! Feedback on this update was positive, but also brought some small issues to our attention. This release will receive one or two smaller patches to balance out difficulty and fix a small number of weeks this week! The next two updates are focused on two pillars which we think are necessary for a fun game: Procedural environments and Base building. Although these are the overarching themes, an update will also come with a number of smaller features, fixes and QoL improvements. Without getting in too much detail. here are the next updates: 0.2.0 - Procedural maps The current update already has somewhat procedural units and enemies. This update will take it a bit further. Every new session is planned to be a new experience, with new environmental obstacles and goals. 0.3.0 - Base building We have always planned this title to have a number of RTS elements. Although our current release was mainly focused on units and unit composition, we think it's time to implement basic buildings. Base building will not occur as a traditional RTS, it's just another (and optional) way to achieve your goals in the different scenario's. 0.4.0 - Campaign&Cats The titular cats will finally make an intruduction, together with a yet to be determined campaign mode

Release 0.1.0 for All cats 'r belong to us

I'm very happy to share the release notes for version 0.1.0 which is available as a playable demo right now! Upgrade system rewrite This version contains a full reimplementation of the way we handle upgrades. Here's a summary of the biggest changes since 0.0.3: Units no longer come in predefined classes. Instead, you determine what composition you want to build Upgrades are now applied on a single unit. New recruits will always start as a blank sheet, only equipped with it's wits and a stick. Upgrades now come in two categories 1. Equipment: Equipment determines what attributes and skills an unit gains. 2. Buffs: Will improve one attribute Picking upgrades now clearly shows what you gain Ofcourse, this is not all we have to offer! Our music composer also provided us with the first track for the OST. You can listen at this awesome track here: OST - Track 1 on Soundcloud Changelog This list will contain all new features, improvements ánd bug fixes. Features First track of our OST , which is called "For the Cats!" First version of the logo Crash reporting (internal) Different hair variations New card layout, displaying costs, an icon for visual representation and a description mentioning what the upgrade means Reroll button when the selected cards are not what you were looking for ( reroll has a small costs, which increases with each use ) Added the Wishlist button in the menu Added an exit game button in the main menu Implemented Shields, one-handed weapons (sword) and bows upgrades Implemented Dual-wielding of one-handed weapons ( give an unit 2 swords! ) Implemented first attribute upgrades ( + maximum health ) Introduced damage text on enemies. This will display the amount of damage delivered Added skip button on upgrade panel ( save up EXP ) Implemented Taunt skill, acquired by equipping a Shield Implemented "Defense" attribute.
