Control golem actions through visual programming in Algolemeth, an Indie RPG where logic and trial shape dungeon conquests.

About this game

Connect the nodes and hack the Dungeon!

Algolemeth is an RPG where you control golem behavior through visual programming and conquer dungeons fully automatically.

Challenge the Dungeon through Trial and Error!

As an alchemist, players create autonomously operating golems, forming parties to undertake automatic dungeon conquests. Once the golems are dispatched into the dungeon, all you can do is watch. Analyze enemy actions, iterate through trial and error, and aim to conquer the dungeon!

Bring Back Parts and Strengthen Your Golems!

Various enhancement parts can be found in the dungeon. Among them are those that directly increase the golem's physical abilities and modules that allow for new action logic. Create your own unique golems with the parts you acquire!

Not Just Battle, But Fully Automated Exploration!

Players can control exploration actions in the dungeon using exploration ModuleRack. Decide who will unlock the treasure chest, whether to continue exploring based on current health status, or whether to retreat. The actions of your party are dependent on the AI you've created.

Legendary composer Yuzo Koshiro sets the tone with an all-new soundtrack!

Having scored countless classic games, Koshiro now handles our BGM—every track rendered in true Genesis-style FM synth to fire you up on your dungeon conquest!

    Partnership Announcement & Demo!

Hey everyone! I have some exciting news to share today. For some time, I have alluded to big things happening in the background, and I can finally unveil that Medium-Rare Games and Kakehashi Games are teaming up with Raw Fury – the top ranked indie publisher on Metacritic. Together with Raw Fury, we aim to give more players across the world an opportunity to play Algolemeth... or Dungeon Automata as it also will be called! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44794881/922e68e23c0c6e57a4955dff2563d1c706c7a81f.png Announcement #1: Partnering with Raw Fury as a co-publisher! As part of this new partnership, Algolemeth is getting a new global name outside Japan: Dungeon Automata! As you dungeon crawl through the floors of the Tower of Corruption by automating your party of golems, we believed that the name was very fitting. The game is still going to be called Algolemeth, but primarily used in Japan. Announcement #2: A new trailer! We have created a new trailer that aims to convey the core experience of Dungeon Automata and introduce the game to new players around the world! Announcement #3: A Steam DEMO! To kick things off, we have just launched our very first playable demo right here on Steam so you can play the start of the game and let us know how you feel about it. This is the first time the demo has been released online to everyone. For those who have been interested in the game for a long time, I am sorry to have kept you waiting. The extra time did let me build a demo I am satisfied with, but I would like to make it even better based on your feedback. You can find a survey from inside the game, so please play it and send us your thoughts! All of the music and sound effects were created by Yuzo Koshiro, the composer behind many classic titles, using FM synthesis throughout. You can hear some of it in the demo, so be sure to pay attention to the audio as well! We have also added gamepad support this time, so please try playing it that way as well and let me know what you think. I a...

Hello everyone!I’m @gunzee2, the developer of Algolemeth. It’s already the end of the year. 2025 was a year where I truly felt the support of so many people. As usual, it’s in chronological order.February 2025New Main Visual Revealed! Exhibited at Tokyo Game Dungeon 7! Over 10,000 Wishlists!2025 started with a major visual update. I completely overhauled the graphics, which I had previously handcrafted myself, by commissioning the illustrator Baron Sanaki!Thank you so much for the wonderful artwork! In the final version, you’ll be able to create your Golem by choosing from multiple portraits designed by Baron Sanaki. (You can also import your favorite images to use!)(Previous key art. Thank you, Skeleton-kun...!)Thanks to the visual update, we finally surpassed 10,000 Steam wishlists! When I first started development, I honestly thought, "This is a niche game, so it might not appeal to a wide audience, but I’ll focus on making it fun to build my track record." So, I’m both surprised and delighted that so many of you are interested.I also wrote an article on note regarding reaching 10,000 wishlists. If you're wondering how to navigate your own activities, feel free to use it as a reference.https://note.com/gunzee2/n/ne14836903786On Saturday, February 15, I exhibited at Tokyo Game Dungeon 7!I debuted the updated graphics and a game system with expanded exploration elements. Algolemeth Release Delayed to 2026

Hello, everyone. Today, we’re letting you know that Algolemeth’s release date has been formally delayed to 2026. We’re extremely grateful for your continued support and enthusiasm, and apologize for any frustration this news may cause.About the SituationFor context, I have been developing Algolemeth in my free time alongside my full-time day job, and up until now, neither project interfered with the other. However, I’ve underestimated the amount of time and work I would need to realistically release the game within this year to the standard of quality it deserves. To remedy this, I’m excited to share that I’ve taken a leave of absence from my day job and will be focusing entirely on Algolemeth’s development and completion moving forward! To be honest, this is my first full-scale development project, and I’ve been a bit anxious about it, feeling my way around as I go. With this life change, I’ll be devoting myself to promotion and development, and I’m looking forward to giving Algolemeth the rightful attention it needs.Furthermore, I’ve got the help of various creators on my side, including Yuzo Koshiro and @sanaki385, who have helped the quality of Algolemeth improve significantly. With their continued teamwork, I’m hopeful that we’ll create a game that everyone can enjoy, and one that will feel worth the wait.Thank you so much for trusting us with this.Regarding Tokyo Game Dungeon 10Despite postponing Algolemeth’s release, we will still be exhibiting at Tokyo Game Dungeon 10 in Hamamatsucho on Sunday, November 9th! This time, we’ll be exhibiting at the GYAAR Studio booth, who is supporting the development of our game. We’ll be showcasing the latest build, and sincerely hope to see you there! Please come play, and let us know what you think!Demo & Recent ProgressThanks to the support of GYAAR Studio, we’ve been able to exhibit at various events this year in addition to Tokyo Game Dungeon 10, including BitSummit and Tokyo Game Show. The feedback from players who have t...
