  Enjoy the Holiday Season with new themed decorations!

  Hey everyone!The holidays are here, and Vending Dokan is getting dressed for the season! This smaller festive update brings a cozy and warm theme to the game, perfect for winding down, decorating your locations, and enjoying a bit of seasonal cheer!Holiday Decorations Are Here!We’ve added a selection of Themed decorative items to help you bring the festive spirit to your alleys and kiosks. Expect stringed candy canes and glowing baubles, to festive lights, trees, and more. We've also added a few stickers for the season!We hope this update helps your locations feel a little warmer and more in tune with the holidays.Alongside the festive additions, we’ve made some general optimisation improvements and bug fixes, including one particularly frustrating issue we’re happy to finally put to rest:Default machine stickers should no longer reappear after being disabled. Due to the nature of the fix, you’ll need to turn them off one last time on any machines you don’t want them on. After that, they should stay gone for good.A Little CelebrationWe also had a lot of fun watching The Game Awards last night! A massive congratulations to SandfallGames and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for their well-deserved wins at TGA.To celebrate, for a limited time, you can place the Gnome Baguette freely: no collecting required, for a small cost of $33 in-game currency!For those who come after. 🫡Looking AheadWe hope this update helps you get into the holiday spirit and gives you a cozy space to relax during the season.   New Machine Types & Companion Machines Arrive in Vending Dokan!

  Hey everyone!We’re back with another update and this one is all about foundations. Today’s patch introduces two major systems that will shape the future of Vending Dokan: new machine types and companion machines!These might sound simple at first, but they open the door to entirely new gameplay styles, new product categories, and tons of fun machines we can build on later. Let’s dive in!New Machine Type: Hot Drinks MachinesWe’re excited to finally roll out the Machine Type System, starting with your very first new type: Hot Drinks!Up until now, every machine you've placed has been considered a Dry Machine, meaning they accept any item that doesn’t require heating or cooling. With this update, the ecosystem expands.Introducing the Naka Refresh × MoonSip Hot Drinks Machine.New Items (Available at Milestone 16)This machine launches with four brand-new hot drink items:Hot Oolong TeaHot Ginger TeaHot Raspberry TeaHot ChaiThese drinks offer higher profit margins, and customers will now perform unique animations as they order, wait for, and receive their warm drink. Just like other machines, you can:Stock themRepair themCustomise themDecorate around themYou’ll also notice clearer indicators in the Shop and Build Mode showing which items require which machine types, making it easier to plan your layouts.This is only the beginning of the machine type system, and we already have more unique machines in development: including the Umbrella Machine coming very soon!Introducing Companion MachinesAlongside new machine types, this update also introduces an entirely new category of devices: Companion Machines.These are machines that don’t require stock, but instead provide small amenities that enhance customer satisfaction, keep them around longer, and generate a little income while they do it.We’re rolling out this system with our first companion machine:Ice MachinePerfect for anyone grabbing a canned, bottled, or pouched drink!   Vending Dokan! is now available in Japanese!

  ICYMI: Vending Dokan! is now available in English, French, German and now in Japanese. And with each of them, we're releasing a special Gnome as a reward and several stickers to customize your machines. Ah oui, c’est pas mal! Endlich, das ist großartig. え、本当に！やっと遊べる！ You can now start and expand your vending machine empire in multiple languages. We'll keep adding more languages in the future as we progress through our Early Access development. Keep an eye out for more content, new locations and features in November and December and check our roadmap if you'd like to see what's on the horizon in more detail!   Celebrate the Spooky Season in Vending Dokan!

  The air is getting chillier, the nights are growing longer, and something spooky is brewing in the alleys… It’s officially Halloween season in Vending Dokan! 🕯️This update might not be a major one, but it’s full of seasonal charm, new ways to decorate, new items to play with, and a few surprises we think you’ll love.Seasonal Decorations!From glowing pumpkins to eerie candles, mischievous ghosts, neon signs, and even glowing mushrooms, this update brings a warm, spooky glow to your vending corners.All Halloween decorations can be found right in Build Mode and are available for purchase with in-game money throughout the rest of October. On Nov 3rd, they’ll move into the Reward Machine, so make sure to decorate your kiosks and alleyways while the season lasts!And of course, no festive update would be complete without a new gnome friend: introducing the Gnome-Bie!Back from the (gnome) grave to haunt your alleys, this limited-time gnome is dying to join your collection.Draw Your Own Dynamic String Lights!We’re introducing one of the more requested features so far: dynamic string lights! These are no ordinary lights, you can literally draw your own.In Build Mode, you’ll find several new string light options under Wall Hooks and Ground Poles. Simply place one down and keep placing more to connect them into glowing strands across your spaces.Use the scroll wheel to adjust how much the string sagsHold Shift + scroll to tweak the density of the bulbsWhether you’re outlining a vending zone, wrapping your alley in warm lights, or creating a cozy rooftop glow, this system gives you complete creative control.We’ve had a lot of fun testing it, and we can’t wait to see the magical setups you come up with.
