Little ShiFu: Echoes of Zhongnan is a mystery adventure and puzzle game centered on Chinese folk horror.
Players take on the role of eighteen-year-old Taoist practitioner Zhang Qingyi. On the eve of the Ghost Festival, he enters the mist-shrouded ancient town of Changming to investigate five deadly supernatural incidents.
Story
The story takes place in an old town veiled in unnatural mist—Changming.
The incense at the town’s City God Temple has never gone out, yet one forbidden saying has been passed down for generations:
“On the night of the Ghost Festival, the boundary between life and death falls into chaos.”
Years ago, Taoist Zhang Qishan sacrificed his life to suppress an ancient evil, leaving behind a deadly game of fate for his son.
On the eve of the Ghost Festival in 2005, five vengeful spirits begin claiming lives. The game is set in motion, and eighteen-year-old Zhang Qingyi is drawn into a deadly struggle between the living and the dead.

As Zhang Qingyi, players are free to explore the town, gather clues, solve mechanisms, and uncover the truth.

This is the story of a young man forced to accept his destiny—and a journey into the eerie world of Chinese folk beliefs.
As the Ghost Festival approaches, spirit money drifts through the streets, the mist thickens, and five deadly incidents begin to unfold.
Carrying the ritual tools left behind by his father, Zhang Qingyi investigates the obsessions of the dead and attempts to break a deadly trap woven by gods, ghosts, and humans alike.
As the truth gradually comes to light, he realizes that the threat before him reaches far beyond wandering spirits.

The game follows five major supernatural cases, accompanied by multiple side stories. Each case centers on a different lingering obsession and a different folk taboo.
Players will enter a variety of locations, collect old objects, solve mechanisms, reconstruct the circumstances of each death, and gradually approach the truth.
Spirit summoning, medicine preparation, ghost interrogation, gambling with fate, and ritual formation-breaking each offer distinct gameplay, avoiding repetitive puzzle design.
What players uncover is not merely a collection of mysteries, but the accumulated grudges, debts, and consequences buried beneath Changming for years.

Little ShiFu: Official Release Schedule and Player Benefits Announced**
Brothers, the latest DEMO of Little ShiFu will officially launch on July 14, and the full version is currently planned for release in mid-August.This new version will not use a separate Steam store page. Instead, it will be updated directly on the existing Little ShiFu Steam page. Players who have already followed the game or added it to their wishlist will not need to search for a new page.We have taken many wrong turns during development and encountered plenty of technical problems along the way. At one point, the project was completely rebuilt from the ground up, which significantly increased our development costs.However, those mistakes were made by us during production.
