Build and lead a thriving settlement through millennia of human history in Agecraft. Manage citizens, grow your economy, and compete or cooperate with other states as you advance technology from ancient times into space exploration.
About this game
Agecraft is a real-time city-building strategy game spanning multiple historical epochs. Start with a small prehistoric community and grow it into a world power that reaches the stars.
Manage a real population where every citizen needs a home and a job. Build an economy based on physical logistics with resources produced, stored, and hauled where they’re needed. Trade with neighboring settlements, build alliances, or wage war for control of their regions.
Each new era transforms how your people live, work, fight, and die. What you build will echo in history.
BUILD THROUGH HISTORY
Progress through the Stone and Bronze Ages, Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Industrial Age, the Modern era, and beyond. Each age introduces new technologies, materials, buildings, production chains, infrastructure, and military capabilities.
Your state changes along the way. Choose new leaders, peoples, and forms of government as you decide what kind of civilization it will become.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR PEOPLE
Every citizen has a job, a home, health, and needs of their own. They need food, water, warmth, clothing, and medical care. Seasons set the deadline and force you to plant, harvest, and stockpile to have enough when winter comes. The bigger the settlement, the more mouths you have to feed.
MANAGE CITY LAYOUT AND ECONOMY
The economy runs on physical logistics. Your people gather, process, and deliver resources between workshops and farms on your land. The placement of warehouses and roads decides the efficiency of your entire settlement. Poor planning can create bottlenecks that will destabilize your entire economy.
DEAL WITH NEIGHBORS
Other settlements grow alongside yours across the surrounding regions. Trade with your neighbors, exchange gifts, strike deals, wage war, make peace, or convince them to join your state. Trust and fear shape every relationship, and what you do will be remembered for generations.
SEND YOUR PEOPLE TO WAR
Your armies are made up of people living in your settlements. Send them to defend your territory, raid your enemies, or conquer new regions. Plan campaigns on the strategic map, then give your troops tactical orders in 3D battles. Every soldier you recruit is a worker pulled from the economy, and every casualty is a citizen you lose.
REBUILD FOR A NEW ERA
History doesn’t stand still, and neither will your civilization. Industries that defined one age become obsolete in the next. Each new era forces you to rethink what you built and reshape your state to meet the demands of the changing world.

Agecraft: Demo 2.0
Hi. I’ve updated the demo of Agecraft. This is a big update for the demo: reworked buildings, worker management, UI, research, logistics, survival and several new systems. For convenience I’m calling this update “Demo 2.0”.Stone Age refresh and WondersAll Stone Age buildings have been updated visually.Their roles, costs and production have been rebalanced. The early economy should now be clearer and more predictable.WondersAdded Wonders – unique buildings with strong bonuses. They have tougher build requirements and work as long-term goals for your settlement.Settlement management: less micromanagementNew worker assignment systemAdded a new system for distributing workers between buildings.Less manual control of each individual unit, more focus on priorities and worker counts.Managing the settlement should feel more like strategy, and less like dragging people around.Logistics and warehousesAdded a new logistics system with warehouses.Resources are stored and moved more explicitly, and the path they take through your settlement is easier to read.Planning storage and supply becomes part of the gameplay.Fully reworked UIThe UI has been rebuilt from scratch.New panels, windows, icons and ways of showing your settlement state.Information about resources, workers and population should be easier to read.New research systemResearch now uses a point-based system. You generate research points as you play, and once you have enough for a technology, you unlock it with a single click. The goal is to keep tech progression visible and responsive, without long, dragged-out timers.Survival: food, cold and healthFood, saturation and processingAdded new types of food and ways to process them.Different foods provide different levels of saturation, so it matters not only how much food you have, but what kind of food it is.This affects settlement survival and how you plan production chains.Diseases and injuriesIntroduced a disease and injury system.Bad food, lack of warmth and injuries now h...Read full article on Community Announcements (SnakyDevelop)Patch NotesOfficial
