    Xplorite Demo Update

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since our last update! Sorry for the delay. We’ve been very busy cooking up something great and putting a lot more polish into the early parts of the game. The biggest change in this update is the addition of the Power Gun from the very beginning of the game. Rob will now provide you with both Melee and Ranged attacks right from the start. You’ll be able to upgrade the Power Gun later on to unlock its full potential! Here's the complete changelog:ChangelogGameplay & FeelImproved aiming, smooth movement, and fading timings.Fixed an issue where the player would continue moving slowly after being healed. Movement speed now correctly returns to normal.Added a small hit-stop effect when taking damage or hitting enemies.Tweaked the low-energy VFX with smoother fade-in and fade-out animations instead of instantly appearing or disappearing.Added a less powerful ranged attack at the beginning of the game.Skipping the slasher animation while aiming now makes combat feel more responsive.Fixed aiming being enabled when the companion was not available.Combat & EnemiesFixed an issue where melee attacks could hit certain enemies more than once.Hitting invincible enemies now knocks the player back more than hitting regular enemies.Added 4 new enemies to the final zone.BossesAdded an upgraded/rage state to bosses to keep fights engaging as battles progress.Tweaked Wormino's visuals.Exploration & ProgressionItem pickups now have a short animation sequence.Ability pickups now play a cinematic sequence before the ability is collected.Fixed broken doors not being saved after dying. They will now remain open, so you don't have to reopen them after respawning.UI & MenusRemoved menu shortcuts bound to the right stick, which could trigger accidentally and feel annoying.Tweaked menu navigation by adding tabs to make multiple screens easier to identify.Added a glitchy visual effect to screen transitions.Fixed an issue where the HUD could remain disabled after openi...

    Xplorite Demo Update

Hi everyone! We've been working on a lot of smaller improvements throughout the game. This update includes two major changes:Tile collisions now follow the visual shape of tiles more closely. This means character movement will feel smoother, especially on tiles that aren't perfectly square. The minimap can now be resized to show more of the surrounding area. It will also update correctly when you pick up a map item. Here's the complete changelog: GameplayImproved tile collision detection to more closely match tile geometry.Refined character movement when interacting with vertical surfaces, resulting in smoother collision handling and reduced frustration.Updated enemy navigation and movement to follow the new tile collision shapes.Adjusted upward enemy-hit pushback behavior:Pushback now only occurs when the enemy survives the hit.If the enemy is defeated, player movement continues uninterrupted.Fixed an issue where landing from significant heights onto bounce platforms could incorrectly trigger the Big Landing animation.Fixed unintended player movement occurring while aiming.Hitting an enemy now resets the player's downward momentum, preventing Big Landing from triggering incorrectly afterward.Challenges & AchievementsFixed the Sunken City challenge effect reappearing after loading a saved game.Fixed the "Speedy Gonzales" achievement unlocking when entering any door. The achievement is now awarded only when re-entering the secret door as intended.UI & UXFixed Minimap Enhance activation so it only triggers through button input while outside menus.Fixed the minimap not updating correctly after collecting a map item.Disabled Pause Menu button interactions while returning to the Main Menu.Disabled Main Menu button interactions until the fade-to-black transition has fully completed.Improved menu navigation responsiveness when returning from gameplay, ensuring default button focus is restored immediately.Added item icons to door interaction prompts to better indicate consuma...
