  Greetings, players! Today we want to share with you a small look at the current state of The Backrooms Regret. What started as a pre-production phase has evolved into a solid development where we are pouring all our efforts. We continue working day by day, polishing every corner and every shadow so that the final experience is as oppressive as we imagined. Technical and artistic evolutionOur goal with this reimagining is to raise the quality of the title in all its sections. We are focusing development on a semi-realistic 3D style, taking advantage of the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 to care for every material and every light source, making the terror feel real and palpable. About the Legacy versionWe know that some of you are curious about the origins of the project. Therefore, we have decided that the Legacy version will remain available. However, we want to be clear: this version will remain as is, which means it is unfinished and contains bugs. When starting the game, you will be able to choose your path:Legacy Version: The original experience, with its imperfections and current state. The Backrooms Regret (Remake): The new standard we are building from scratch to offer you the best possible version of this nightmare. Looking to the futureIt is still too early to reveal everything these hallways hide, but we continue working on the narrative, the new mechanics, and the online mode so they are ready from launch.   The Backrooms Regret: Reborn – Announcement

  Hello, players!Today, we officially announce that The Backrooms Regret: Reborn is in the pre-production phase, with production set to begin between mid and late February 2026.We have decided to completely remake our project. This time, with all the experience and new knowledge we have gained along the way, faithfully following our players’ requests. We want to ensure a high-quality product.All assets will be modeled by us, this time with a different visual style, moving away from the realism used previously. We will seek our own style that brings life and charisma to the world of The Backrooms Regret. In addition, we will rework the story to make it more engaging.Finally, we plan to implement an online mode from launch. Our goal is to release this remake within this year, but it may be delayed until 2027. Players who already own The Backrooms Regret in their library will be able to enjoy this new version upon release, as it will replace the current one.Thank you very much to all the players who have tried the current or Legacy version. We hope to receive your support in this new reimagining!P.S.: The game’s price will be reduced to €0.99 until the release of the Remake.
