Embark on a first-person exploration journey with Envelope, where you make unrestricted choices as you gather resources, engage with mysterious characters, and prepare for your ultimate challenge.

About this game

Envelope is a psychological thriller game that puts you in the shoes of an unfortunate soul who finds himself getting pushed to do something beyond anything he could possibly imagine.

Delve into a small open world where you choose your path, and your choices matter.

Immersive gameplay and storytelling. Work your way through the night shift to explore an odd world full of strange people.

Do not let the mundane tasks fool you, there is something sinister going on, and you somehow end up in the middle of it all.

The second part of the game reveals an open world for you to explore, and every choice you make could affect how the ending of the game plays out.

Follow the main objective, or take an alternate route to explore what the world has to offer. There are plenty of interesting characters to come by. Maybe you'll even find one of the many secrets.

Regardless of how your mission ends, your actions will progress the game, making future attempts quicker and easier.

Unlock additional items, shortcuts, or abilities by completing certain tasks. Even if you die, your actions have permanently altered the world, allowing you to return stronger than ever.

    Patch 4.2316.0

Small update today! Just some minor tweaking and QoL to get ready for the speedrun competition which starts at November 21.The "safer language" setting is now available through the in-game menu, as it was a bit too well hidden, and people manually started censoring their videos because they missed this feature completely.Part 2&3 are now locked in the menu until you've completed part 1. Trees have been gotten a small graphical change.Guards at the mansion now actually carry weapons.

    Patch 4.2283.1

Patch 4.2283.1Whoa... The update is finally here! And with it, a complete redo of the banner art, and a brand new trailer! This update has a bit of everything, but is mostly focused on adding more interactions, to really sell the immersion sim part of this game. There's also a bunch of additional items and secrets. And, to top it all off, something that has been requested since day one, a god damn save system! That's right, you can now exit the game and resume later on. This comes with a few restrictions, however. You can only save as you reach part 3 (the mansion). You can only load up your save file once. That means you cannot exploit the save system to get multiple attempts at killing Mistashur. What the save system is for, is to allow a player to spend as much time as they wish in part 2, and then exit the game and continue later on. The game informs the player of this as they attempt to quit to main menu. The reason why a more standard save system is not in place is because the game scope grew a lot as it was developed, and originally the player was not meant to stay in part 2 for longer than 30 minutes. As the game grew, and no save system was implemented, it became more and more complicated to add in so late in development. Additionally, reaching any ending will reset the game anyway, so you would always be able to end the game in a short amount of time. This was a failed assumption on our side, as fresh players would not be aware of this and would not intuitively go to the mansion if they knew they had to quit the game soon. Our hope is that the new save system will take away any doubt, and will allow players to play at their own pace. Be aware however, this does not change the way death works. When you die, you die, regardless of the save system. The entire game premise relies on permadeath! What you bring from part 2 is what you have to fight Mistashur. As you get more familiar with the game, you'll know how to quickly get the items necessary to kill him an...

    Patch 3.2087.1 (Added Russian)

Been quite some time now, but here's yet another Envelope update! This time the focus was on adding a Russian translation, with the help of some amazing people. It required a bit of work with the UI elements, but everything should work as intended. As a bonus, I added some extra stuff just for fun, including a couple of extra secrets. Enjoy! 3.2087.1 changelist General Added the Russian language. Added more secrets. Part 2 (Stendal) Added a little more furniture to Reba 50 storage room. Added some textures on the automatic doors inside Reba 50 to make it more easy to find the way in and out of the store. Made a few changes to Lil Rascat's family house. Interacting with the fuse box now requires you to equip a key or screwdriver, to avoid activating the event by accident. Part 3 (The mansion) Made some additional doors unlocked by default. Added a lever that can be activated to disable the alarm system. UI To have more flexibility with multiple languages, some of the UI elements have been modified to scale based on the length of the text. Some items, like lockpicks and bullets, will have the quantity displayed even if you have just one of them. This is to attempt to make it more obvious that they are one time use. Bugs You should now be able to kill the duck properly with any weapon.
