  Hello, Night4Games here! We’re wrapping up today’s screenshot dev log—three updates landed in a short burst 💨 🛡️ Shield Counters & Self-Buffs We added a shield-removal item to counter shielded enemies, and a self-buff item that boosts your power while you have a shield. This should greatly expand build variety! Added a new item that removes shields 👑 Guaranteed Boss / Mid-Boss Drops We implemented guaranteed item drops when defeating bosses and mid-bosses. Note: It’s been a while since we ran the build, so some effects aren’t rendering correctly—a fix is in progress. Added new items that always drop when defeating bosses or mid-bosses ✨ Auto-Casting Skill at Attack Location A new item now triggers a skill magic at the position you attack. With smart positioning and timing, you can set up some fun chains. We plan to add more items of this type during balancing. Extra power when striking nearby enemies 🔥 Bonus damage when hitting distant foes 💥 Mastering positioning is the key to maximizing your strength. ⚔️ Boost your damage at close and long range! ☠️ Cursed Items & Synergy ⚡ A dangerous but powerful new mechanic—Cursed Items—has been introduced! Today we’d like to introduce some of the status effect combos being implemented in Elder Magic Squad. These synergies can dramatically change your gameplay—check out the screenshots and videos below! 💀 + 🔥 → 💥 Poison × Flame Explosion When poison combines with fire, it triggers a powerful explosion! Perfect for wiping out enemies with a burst attack. (Damage values are still being adjusted) 💀 + 🔥 = 💥 Poison × Flame Explosion (Damage values are being adjusted) ☠️ + ❄️ → ☠️☠️ Enhanced Poison (Double Effect) The chill of ice concentrates the poison. It deals double the effect compared to normal poison, making it shine in long battles. ☠️ + ❄️ = ☠️☠️ Enhanced Poison (Double Effect) ⚡ + 🕸️ → ⚡🌐 Electric Shock Around You Channel lightning through spider webs to electrify surrounding enemies.
