Explore the ruins of a once-utopic world as you control the twin souls of a young warrior and an ancient mage, battling against an unknown threat in Twins of Olus. This indie RPG from Team Verdant blends action and adventure for a unique narrative experience.

About this game

18 years ago, the invasion began. Thousands were hunted, captured and possessed. Now your training is complete and it's time to dive into exhilarating battles against your corrupted foes.

In Twins of Olus, you take control of Lions, an orphaned Uthran native and his spectral partner Creo as they emerge from years of hiding after an otherworldly force invaded their homeland. Players will master the art of dual combat, seamlessly switching between characters as they battle their way through hordes of creatures, solve puzzles, collect power ups and meet plenty of quirky allies along the way.

By exploring a beautifully crafted world filled with secrets and challenges through fast paced traversal - coupled with a little creative thinking - only you can uncover the intent and identity of the nefarious force pillaging Lions' home world.

Control two characters in tandem to experience a co-op adventure as a solo player. Seamlessly swap between playstyles to make the most of either characters best attributes.

Travel together day and night uncovering alternative routes as the sun rises and sets on each region. Encounter curious and remarkable creatures who may aid or deceive you during the journey.

Dash, launch & jolt at high velocity to cover vast stretches of terrain. Activate spectral bridges shared between the living and the dead to reach places once forgotten.

Enlist a squad of potent creatures that will lend you their powerful combat enhancements. Gather rare materials along the way to unleash the full potential of their skills.

Local co-op puts you and a friend in control of each character individually to create a new way of adventuring together.

    Dynamic Map Marker Update

We've got a small but important update to share today! We felt as though the map wasn't being as helpful as it could when navigating around the level. It was tough to figure out where you've been or what routes you could take to get somewhere without it being blocked. So, today we're excited to show off a new dynamic map marker feature. When a gate is unlocked, a lever is pulled, a Whip Rift is activated or a passageway is found the map will now automatically populate that information. We even have a few additional map upgrades planned in a future update that can be purchased from a special vendor later in the game. Thank you for supporting the Twins of Olus development thus far and happy adventuring!UIOverhauled map system with dynamic markersAll map marker visuals have been redesignedLocked gate marker removes from map after openingWhip Rifts enable on map after activationNew lever gate markersNew passageway markersNew Lotus Launcher makersUnfortunately this change had no elegant way to migrate the existing map reveal shroud and had to be reset when loading from an save older than 00.06.04Animated store UI paging buttonsOptimizations related to inventory UIBug FixesFixed issue where dashing as Lions during the completion of an ambush event would move them further than expectedFixed enemies actively seeking the player while riding Whip RiftsFixed door collision when leaving MausoleumsFixed health bar placement on larger Zealous enemies

    Demo Update v00.06.02

We're back with another major update to the demo. This time we're addressing a few critical components of combat, mainly related to enemy attack interrupts and healing. Our goal with this game has always been to encourage as much cooperation between characters as possible, whether it be solo or in co-op. After seeing quite a few playthroughs we felt like some core components were leaning on one character a lot more than the other.
