As Stoneguard, you strategize to protect the Lifestone by building defenses and leading survivors. Tackle waves of nocturnal monsters in an action-packed early access experience.
About this game
Stoneguard is an immersive strategy game set in a grim medieval apocalypse, where you must defend the magical Lifestone.

Protect the Lifestone
You start with nothing but the will to survive in an apocalyptic world. You protect humanity's only source of magic, the lifestone, from falling into the wrong hands. To defend the last glimpse of hope: Craft walls, build towers and fortify.

Experience Traumatic Injuries & Gruesome Encounters
Accurate weapon tracing detects which body part has been hit. You must be tactful in combat to protect your vital limbs and choose which parts of your enemies to sever. Every lost limb carries severe consequences, hindering your performance in both battle and daily survival. But as long as the Lifestone is protected, there are ways to heal your battle wounds.

Craft with the Remains of Monsters
Strategize your defenses before nightfall, then command and fight alongside your survivors in battle. Issue orders amid the chaos as you face five distinct boss encounters, each summoning new hordes of enemies. Craft and research powerful weapons forged from the limbs of your fallen enemies.

Basebuilding and Resource Management
Hunt and gather resources from the world around you, recruit survivors to join your settlement, and work together to gather, craft, and build. Expand your community with housing, farms, workshops, and more as you create a thriving community amid the apocalypse.

A Unique and Immersive Strategy Game
Experience a strategy game from a third person point of view, with a dynamic day and night cycle which aligns with the three phases of gameplay; day time, preparation phase, and night time.

Some bug fixes for: - Not being able to equip items on certain survivors. This happened when a survivor healed from a broken arm and the equip button was still disabled. - Screen resolutions, though it may still be a problem if the game detects a higher resolution from a second monitor. A subtle but nice visual update for buildings and foliage; they no longer have hard edges where they meet the ground. We see your feedback and are addressing the main issues as well as progressing with the development of the next major update, so thank you for your patience!Read full article on Community Announcements (Thorn Spire Games)Community & EventsOfficial

Endless Mode Is now live on Stoneguard!
Hello everyone!Based on community feedback, we’re introducing Endless Mode to Stoneguard with this update. This new mode is for players who want to push their settlement beyond the standard campaign, face increasingly relentless nights, and see just how long their Lifestone can survive.A Fight Without EndEndless Mode will use a random enemy spawn system built around an incrementing point value, following the same escalating rhythm as Stoneguard’s six-day boss cycles. As the nights continue, the threats will grow stronger, more varied, and more demanding, requiring you to constantly adapt your defenses, resources, and battle plans. On later nights, enemies will arrive in multiple waves spaced roughly 60 seconds apart. Holding the first attack will not mean the danger has passed. You'll need to repair breaches, reposition defenders, and prepare for the next push before it reaches the Lifestone.Choose Your ChallengeYou’ll be able to select Endless Mode from the start of a new game. For players who complete the regular campaign first, there will also be a new option to transition to Endless Mode after finishing night 12.Once you start or transition into Endless Mode, that save will be permanently marked as an Endless Mode save. This means it will remain dedicated to your endless run and will not be eligible to continue through future major-update progression content.Put Your Run to the TestEndless Mode will also introduce a new main-menu stats screen that tracks your best attempts. You’ll be able to see your personal records for:Highest day reachedTotal enemies killedMaximum essence collectedBug FixesAlongside our work on Endless Mode, we’ve also addressed a few survivor-related issues:Survivors can farm again.Fixed issues survivors had with building. We want every run to feel like a story worth trying to beat whether you’re chasing a new personal record, testing a risky defense layout, or seeing how far your co-op team can push into the night.
