HEARTSHOT

Meadow Studios · Published by Meadow Studios

Content notice: HEARTSHOT includes realistic weapon use, featuring guns, knives, and explosives. While the game contains no explicit gore or blood, the use of these weapons implies a level of violence. Enemies are typically 'knocked out' rather than killed, but certain scenarios suggest implied deaths. While the game avoids graphic content, the nature of its combat and themes are suited for a mature audience.

(0.2.4) Changes: -Fixed two-handed weapons turning upside down when gripped with left -Changed grabbing controls (Weapon interactions now use trigger! Can be reverted in settings) -Added Left-Handed Mode -Improved sound design for weapon/attachment handling -Added “Bass Boost” option in Audio Menu (for small speakers, particularly the Vive) -Various minor fixes We're also doing devlogs! Unreal Engine 5 Update

Today is a big day for Heartshot as we’ve fully transitioned our project from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5! This change should help improve some common wobbly-screen issues. If you’re still experiencing weird stutters, try installing the latest drivers for your GPU or adjust some settings in the new graphics menu. Controller offsets may need to be readjusted in the new version. (0.2.0) Changes; -Migrated to Unreal Engine 5! -screen stuttering improved -major performance improvements -fully switched to OpenXR -various holster fixes -fixed disabled hands problem -fixed guns sliding around on floor -Improved reloading stability -Inputs for WMR and HP Reverb (experimental, still not officially supported) -graphics settings menu -fixed some ‘goons sliding around’ issues -fixed issues with some goons not spawning -added option for volumetric fog Now that the engine migration is complete, we’ll be able to focus our efforts on more bugfixes and performance improvements. Once those are in a good place, we’ll move on to additional quality of life features and AI improvements. Level design for part 2 is already underway and it’s looking sweet!
