About this game

WELCOME TO YOUR FIRST NIGHT AT ADVENTURE MANSION

Congratulations.

You and up to three friends are the newest employees at Adventure Mansion: a sprawling indoor adventure attraction packed with Halloween sets, fake monsters, strange exhibits, ridiculous costumes, dark corridors, hidden passages, and enough questionable safety decisions to keep management very busy.

There's just one problem.

You're alone in the building tonight.

Well...

Almost alone.

Something has gotten inside Adventure Mansion.

No one can get in or out, including you.

Alien pods are hidden throughout the attraction, they're incubating, and somehow you and your coworkers are the only people close enough to stop them.

A mysterious voice on your walkie-talkies seems to know more than they should.

For now, they're also your only ally.

So grab some Alien-B-Gone, split up, and start searching.

Find the pods.

Destroy them before they hatch.

Try not to make things worse.

FOUR NEW HIRES. ONE VERY STRANGE ORIENTATION.

Cocoon Panic is built around the chaos of four friends trying to handle one simple job together.

Search Adventure Mansion.

Call out anything suspicious.

Find the pods.

Get somebody over there with the spray.

Easy.

Until the attraction starts fighting back.

The alien presence can turn Adventure Mansion's own attractions against you—possessing props, activating hazards, and putting ridiculous obstacles between your team and the pods you're trying to destroy.

So while one employee is trying to spray an incubating pod, another may be kicking an aggressive doll out of the way.

And someone else is probably nowhere useful.

Another employee is yelling over the radio.

Nobody remembers who has the Alien-B-Gone.

And your coworker in the hot dog costume has just started screaming.

The faster your team searches, the better your chances.

The more you split up, the more opportunities you create for everything to go spectacularly wrong.

HUNT THEM BEFORE THEY HATCH

At the beginning of the round, you are the threat.

The alien pods are hidden.

Your team is moving through the attraction looking for them.

Find one and destroy it with Alien-B-Gone before incubation finishes.

But the infestation isn't helpless.

Alien influence can turn Adventure Mansion's own attractions against you, activating hazards, possessing props, and creating new problems exactly when your team is trying to deal with a pod.

Sometimes the fastest solution is teamwork.

Sometimes it's kicking a possessed doll across the room.

Every pod you eliminate is one less problem waiting for you later.

Every pod you miss...

Well.

You'll meet that problem eventually.

FAILURE DOESN'T END THE GAME.

IT CHANGES IT.

You aren't racing toward a simple GAME OVER screen.

If your team fails to contain the infestation, the surviving pods hatch.

The attraction blacks out.

The thing you were hunting starts moving.

And suddenly four brave exterminators become four new employees desperately trying to find each other in the dark.

Seek and destroy becomes survive and escape.

Areas you confidently explored minutes earlier become dangerous again.

Your team has to regroup, follow whatever help that mysterious voice can provide, reach the emergency phone, and find a way out of Adventure Mansion while dealing with the consequences of everything you failed to destroy.

The worse your first half goes...

the better the story gets.

PANIC IS CONTAGIOUS.

SO IS THE CURE.

Sometimes an employee sees a little more extraterrestrial horror than their first-day orientation prepared them for.

They panic.

Fortunately, Adventure Mansion has an approved emergency procedure for this situation:

SLAP YOUR COWORKER.

Get close enough to your panicking friend and smack some sense back into them.

They recover.

You feel useful.

Their mascot head may fly across the room.

Everybody wins.

Probably.

THE REAL MONSTERS WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PART OF THE ATTRACTION

Adventure Mansion was already a strange place before the aliens arrived.

It's part adventure attraction, part Halloween nightmare, part workplace that absolutely should have had a better orientation program.

Explore theatrical sets, backstage spaces, props, attractions, fake creatures, hidden areas, and environments designed to make visitors feel like they've stepped into an adventure.

Then experience those same spaces after the lights go out and something very real starts moving through them.

The horror gives the danger teeth.

The adventure gives you somewhere exciting to go.

Your friends provide the rest.

DRESS CODE: QUESTIONABLE

Adventure Mansion employees aren't exactly issued tactical gear.

Your group may enter the worst night shift imaginable dressed as witches, vampires, frogs, hot dogs, bears, and other costumes management considered perfectly reasonable.

Which means every dramatic rescue has the potential to look completely ridiculous.

As it should.

YOUR WALKIE-TALKIE IS YOUR LIFELINE

You're not completely on your own.

A mysterious voice reaches you through your walkie-talkies.

They seem to understand what is happening.

They know things about Adventure Mansion.

And when everything starts going wrong, they may be the only thing pointing your group in the right direction.

Who are they?

Why are they helping you?

And why do they know so much?

Those are excellent questions.

You have alien pods to deal with first.

COCOON PANIC

Cocoon Panic is the first Adventure Mansion experience being built around this combination of exploration, multiplayer chaos, escalating objectives, and strange things going very wrong after closing time.

For now, your assignment is simple:

  • 1–4 Player Online Co-op — Bring up to three friends and discover exactly how badly four new employees can handle the new hire orientation.

  • Search Adventure Mansion — Explore the attraction together or split up and cover more ground.

  • Destroy Alien Pods — Find the infestation and hit it with Alien-B-Gone before incubation finishes.

  • The Attraction Fights Back — Alien influence can possess props, trigger hazards, and turn Adventure Mansion itself into an obstacle between your team and the pods.

  • Create Your Own Disaster — Missed pods don't simply cost points. They can hatch and change the entire direction of the round.

  • The Hunt Flips — Start by searching for the threat. End up trying to survive it.

  • Panic Together — When coworkers lose it, get them back into action instead of watching them sit out the fun.

  • Slap Your Friends — Adventure Mansion's employee recovery program is unusually hands-on.

  • Follow the Voice — A mysterious ally on your walkie-talkies may be the only person who understands what is happening.

  • Ridiculous Costumes, Real Trouble — Horror is much easier to process when your terrified coworker is dressed as a hot dog.

  • Built for Multiplayer Stories — Missed rooms, terrible decisions, heroic rescues, abandoned coworkers, accidental disasters and desperate escapes are all part of the night.

YOUR FIRST ADVENTURE STARTS AFTER CLOSING.

Four new hires.

One empty attraction.

A voice on the radio.

Alien pods hidden somewhere inside.

And one very important rule:

Find them before they hatch.

Because once the lights go out...

your job description changes.
