    Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™ – Update 8 – Hotfix 1

Bug Fixes Fixed two common crashes, improving game stability. Fixes have been made to our Frame Generation implementation on PC. Several issues have been addressed that could result in stutters when using multi-frame-generation, noise when using Ray Reconstruction, or visual glitches when running in an aspect ratio other than the standard 16:9 “Widescreen” mode. Fixed the ragdoll system to prevent enemies from rotating when being picked up or popping when standing up after being knocked to the ground. Fixed a small stutter when a game level first loads.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (Nintendo Switch 2) Performance Review

Porting Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to the Nintendo Switch 2 genuinely seemed a bit risky to me. A grand adventure set across multiple large environments with current-gen graphic fidelity? There was no way! But hey, if Bethesda got The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to barely work on the Nintendo Switch 2, surely they could handle Indiana Jones and the Great Circle! Of course, I’m being a bit glib for the sake of humour. Between the two Nintendo Switch generations, I’ve always left myself open to being surprised by ports and Bethesda, especially, through their employment of Panic Button, which has put out some pretty surprising versions of their games. To that end, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle actually quite surprised me, being a fairly high-end port that both looks and runs great on the Nintendo Switch 2. I was pretty impressed when I booted the game up in Docked Mode, and the intro sequence referencing the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark was being... Read more

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the GOTY contender that time forgot, and that's a damn shame

In many ways, it feels like the era of 'movie games' is over - if anything, it's the era of 'videogame movies.' With Expedition 33, Arc Raiders, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance all set to get big screen adaptations following the success of League of Legends: Arcane, the Mario Movie, and Minecraft, it feels like Hollywood has realized that gaming is, in fact, a goldmine, or is, alternatively, out of its own ideas. But, while videogame adaptations have gone well over the past few years, videogame spin-offs of films haven't. I lament how mid Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was (even with the Fire and Ash-inspired DLC), and as much as I'm excited for Arkane's Blade (if it ever comes out), I have my reservations. It's why it took me a while to pick up Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, despite my love for the franchise - the recent movies haven't done much for Indy, why would the game be any better? Let's all punch some Nazis as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, plus all its DLC, is cheaper than ever

Like the satisfyingly fast crack of a whip, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle instantly entered my list of the best action-adventure games. Even over a year later, I still look back at my time as Indy with fondness and a further love for the character than ever before. It's got everything: exploration, historical sites, beating up Nazis, and this gem of a new chapter for our beloved Dr Jones is nothing short of a fantastic time. If you've been waiting to give it a try, the full experience so far is cheaper than ever at Fanatical, so you have no excuse. Read the rest of the story...
