  v0.15 Release

  v0.15 of Rebel Duet is now live!This update includes the climax of Act 3, and the first part of the next story arc - Act 4. Going forward, the next update will focus more on the romance, sexual content, and worldbuilding, now that the characters are able to relax again.There is also new side content added. Two map scenes (one at the courtyard, and one at the tavern for those on the sharing route), as well as two new training positions.I'll be listening closely to feedback, and may update with a smaller patch in the coming days if adjustments or bug fixes for v0.15 are necessary.Thank you so much for your patience, and I hope you enjoy playing the new update. I plan to release v0.16 at a quicker pace, and will have more to share on that soon as development progresses.   v0.15 Release Date

  Update: v0.15 needs a few more hours to finish up. It will release the morning of August 12th, JST. Sorry for the slight delay, and thank you for your patience! Hey, quick post to let everyone know when you can expect to play the new update.v0.15 of Rebel Duet will release on August 10 (Monday, JST). There's a small chance unexpected issues could push it to the 11th, but overall I'm confident in this release date.This is a pretty large update and is divided into two halves: the climax of Act 3, and the start of Act 4. There's also new side content, such as map events and training scenes.Thanks to everyone for your support and patience. I hope you'll enjoy playing it! The next update will also arrive much sooner.As a side note, the new Steam achievements are live for testing purposes and will be obtainable once v0.15 is released.

  Dev Update #19

  Development for v0.15 is in its final stages and is expected to be completed within the next few weeks. This puts the scheduled release date in July. Though I was hoping for a June release, the scale of the action scenes required a bit more development time. I've also increased the size of the update with several extra Act 4 scenes, leading to a more balanced mix of action, character development, and story progression. On the way to the bedroom, you'll encounter Valerie, prepared and waiting for you. Her seductive behavior adds some spice before the main dish - the nightly training of your naughty succubus. The Act 4 section of v0.15 adds two training sessions. Of course, there will be new positions added in this update, and if it's been a while since you last played, you'll get to experience all the new training content from recent updates as well.An extra scene with Rena has also been added. Here, you'll get to spend some quiet time together, and learn more about her through dialogue choices. Rena's past, her dreams - and more. I felt it was important to give Rena more time to shine, as the past few updates were a little more Valerie-focused. You'll also get to spend plenty more time with the other heroines (especially Annestria) throughout Act 4.I've also added a new scene showing some of the consequences of using Death's powers, as well as an extra map scene focused on worldbuilding. These were all originally planned for v0.16, so this update should feel a bit beefier as a result. There's a chance additional content could be added beyond this, provided it doesn't interfere with the planned July launch. I hope you look forward to playing v0.15 soon, and apologies for its development taking longer than usual. Act 4 should be released considerably quicker as the story is much more grounded and character-driven. Going forward, my goal is to release one major update roughly every 2-3 months.   Dev Update #18

  v0.15 of Rebel Duet is now around 65-70% complete. Most of the Act 3 climax has been rendered, and I've expanded parts of it with a few extra scenes, including a brief (~5 min) reveal of Avarenth's past.This section of the story is quite a bit different from previous fight scenes, as the stakes are much higher and there are some lasting consequences that come from it. Without spoiling too much about the fight itself, you can expect both the protagonist and the girls to be pushed to their limits.Working on these scenes has been a lot of fun, as there are some new types of magic introduced, and we get to see the main characters at their strongest with nothing holding them back.After the climax, Act 4 will give the characters more time to breathe and relax. Alongside the main story, there will be a larger focus on romance, sexual content, and everyday life moments. For example, the next update (v0.16) will expand the harem elements with the first Rena x Valerie threesome, and a more 'intimate' date with Mira.If I had to rate some of the story arcs by how dark they are, I'd say Act 3 is around a 4/5, Act 4 is more like a 2/5, and Act 5 will probably be the darkest at 5/5. Act 4 is intended to be more of a breather, while still playing an important role in the main story.Overall, this update is shaping up to be a pretty large one with a nice variety in content. Though the first half is quite dark and intense, the new Act 4 scenes will shift things back to a more relaxed atmosphere.Thank you again for supporting Rebel Duet, and I hope you enjoy playing v0.15.   v0.15 of Rebel Duet is now about halfway complete. It's still a bit too early to give a release estimate, but the v0.15 update should have significantly more content than the previous one.This update adds a short scene with Alina, the grand duke's youngest daughter. She'll play a very important role in Act 4, and I felt this would be a nice opportunity to introduce her to the protagonist.Alina will be a romance/sexual option later in the story, as one of the game's three side heroines. So stay tuned for that as her storyline develops.A new map event at the tavern has been added. This is partly build-up for the second event, which will be in v0.16 and will include more 'intimate' content.Depending on how development progresses, more map events will be added, and there's a chance the update might be expanded to include part of the third day of Act 4. This third day would mostly be focused on a date (and optional adult scene) with Mira.I've also expanded the scene with Ann & Ellania to now have hairstyle variations for Valerie. There's also new tutorial images for the training and map systems, which should be a big improvement over how it was before.Now that the new Act 4 content is mostly complete, I'll be shifting focus to the Act 3 climax, which you'll see and hear more about in the next progress update.Thanks to everyone for your support, and I hope you look forward to the v0.15 release.
