    1 year anniversary!

Hello, fellow detourists!Robot Detour, our first Steam release, our small puzzle magnum opus, turns 1 year old today! 🎉 It's on -50% sale for a week (just 3 bucks) - for those of you who still haven't played the game (or who wants to gift it to all their friends)...how many people have played the game, by the way?and what happened in the last year?Good questions :)We've sold 2000 copies!161 reviews on Steam, 100% positiveAppeared on EDGE MagazineWere nominated for "Best approachable puzzle game of 2024" at Thinky AwardsMade friends with several cool people whom we now work together on our next gamesLoved the process so much we're now sticking with a gamedev career. Will see how it goes!Main thing that happened this year was start of development of Burn With Me; it's the main reason we didn't have any updates or news since winter (sorry!)And although we're still not planning any big updates to Robot Detour (it's perfect already), we do have a couple of news to share. We're working on console ports of Robot Detour, in collaboration with Mameshiba Games! Switch, Xbox, PlayStation - all hopefully coming first half of 2026.We're also preparing small DLC with game's OST! Including remastered music from jam version of the game, and a couple of secret tracks from unreleased levels 👀Thanks everyone for sticking with us - and see you all around!Ivan and Eva.

Update 1.1.2: "No save file" fix

Several of you reported that new update brought a critical bug: game was not saved on exit. Oof! Thanks to your reporting (especially 4RT1F1C1AL who provided an exact source of problem on discussion page), we could catch the Steam Cloud bug and fix it with this new update. If you've already started the game and some of the progress was erased - sorry, and feel free to use one of these cheatcodes to get back to action a bit faster: comphello - to complete most of the first world compunplug - to complete most of the second world Once again, sorry for all the troubles and thanks for reporting! First update (and thank you all!)

Hello, fellow detourists! First and foremost: thank you for all the support! Our game may not be the most popular one, but we hit a lot of cool milestones during the past two months, including: selling 1000 copies appearing in EDGE magazine and on Aliensrock channel getting to 100 reviews with 100% positive! We're so glad you are enjoying our game! As a small thank you, we made this "biggest small update". What's inside? New hand-drawn comics for each world! If you've already completed the game, you can simply open first level of each world to see the funnies. Mac support Cloud sync support The ability to toggle speed up functionality instead of holding the button (advanced setting) Optimizations for game build - now it can run even on much older devices! Several bug and level fixes What does the future hold? More levels? Level editor? Ports to other platforms? Time will tell, but we sure hope it's not our last "biggest small update" - and maybe one day we'll even deliver a "smallest big update". Again, thank you for supporting us, and see you around!

v.1.0.6: Third patch is a charm

Hello! Nothing too extreme here, mainly dealing with visual bugs. Glad everyone is enjoying the game! Changelog - fixed visual bug on bonus levels in World 2, when robot friends didn't materialize when you collected all charge particles - fixed visual bug in world 6 regarding undo + special blocks - fixed mouse aim "sticking" when you grab battery on levels with moving blocks (this game really does have mouse controls hidden in the settings, try them!) - removed unintended solutions on levels 56, 72, 85 We have a couple of QoL changes in mind (saveslots, cloud saves, etc.), will combine them with a small content update (really small!) and make an update in the near future. Feel free to suggest any QoL features in the comments you'd like to see!
