Embark on a thrilling adventure where you command iconic Pathfinder characters to vanquish evil abominations in Gauntlight Keep, battling through treacherous corridors to confront the sorceress Belcorra Haruvex.

About this game

The wicked Belcorra Haruvex haunts her forsaken home of Gauntlight Keep. Centuries ago, she threatened the world with an army of monsters, beasts, and abominations, only to be defeated by four brave heroes. But her magic and malice have brought her back to the world as a ghost—and her army has only grown stronger in her absence.

Now Belcorra is ready to take revenge against those who wronged her in life. Brave heroes are needed to venture forth into the undiscovered depths of Gauntlight Keep—a sprawling mega dungeon teeming with foul monsters—to defeat Belcorra’s army and put her wicked soul to rest once and for all.

Players control and customize four iconic heroes of the Pathfinder universe, whose stories will unfold as they advance ever deeper into the dungeon.

Delve deep into a sprawling mega dungeon beneath Gauntlight Keep. The Vaults are divided into several distinct biomes, each comprising its own chapter of the game. Each biome presents new foes, hazards, and bosses for the players to overcome.

Amiri the Barbarian, Harsk the Ranger, Kyra the Cleric, and Ezren the Wizard. Each features unique play styles, abilities, and feats, allowing for deep Pathfinder-style customization.

Players don’t just play one powerful hero - they control the full team of four! Players can stick with their favorite, and either switch to the other heroes when the time is right or deploy them to act on their own. For example, Amiri could kick open the door or be sent to hold off the enemies while Harsk picks the lock.

Controlling the entire team also allows players to take tactical advantage of each hero’s special strengths and even the odds against the abominations with powerful combos.

Some combos are a 1-2 punch where timing is everything, such as Harsk weakening foes with poison before they face Kyra’s slashing scimitar.

Other combos let heroes create something entirely new – for example, Ezren’s wall of fire becomes a flame vortex when Amiri spins her sword, a flame wave when Harsk swings his dual axes, or a wide-ranging fire dome when Kyra strikes the ground with her magic!

Each hero in Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults can be customized via various advancement paths. Players choose how to improve each hero's abilities as they level up to create the kind of hero they want to play.

For example, Kyra the cleric is a vital support character with her starting healing magic, but those spell effects can be altered to increase their range, add damage, or add additional protection, transforming Kyra from healer into a powerful blaster or a mighty frontliner.

Players can join forces with up to 3 other friends in local or online co-op for a fast & friendly pick-up adventure - either right from the beginning, during a tough boss fight, or just because they’ve discovered a new part of the dungeon and want to share the experience!

Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults is an epic adventure where cooperative play is key to defeating Belcorra's abominations and immersing yourself in the adventure. Are you ready to face the challenge and rescue Golarion? Prepare yourself for an unparalleled journey like none other.

Floors 1, 2, 10, Alternate Outfits and Belcorra!

Hail, Pathfinders! The Gauntlight stirs, and so do we. In this update, we share our progress on three distinct levels and their creative process. Grab your torches and let’s get started!Floor 1: Fogfen Ruins (The Mitflit Camp)First, we’re thrilled to share more progress on our levels, starting with the Mitflit Camp in the Fogfen Ruins.  For the Mitflit camp, we wanted to create something that feels tribal and sloppily put together by these mischievous creatures! With hoarded junk scattered throughout the camp, items gathered from nearby peasants and adventurers. We also took strong inspiration from the mitflits’ love of insects and their ability to control and raise them. This influenced the overall architecture of the camp. We wanted it to feel almost insect-like, with elements of bug parts incorporated into the design.Conveying their mischievous personality was key and led to the idea of covering the camp in graffiti made by the mitflits. One fun idea was to have this graffiti created using fluorescent insect juice, which felt like a strong visual representation of their character.F2: The Servant Quarters  For the servant quarters, we went for a more classic abandoned dungeon feel, with castle-like walls and architecture. We incorporated elements of Victorian design to reflect Belcorra’s visual identity. The goal was to add touches of elegance here and there, as it felt fitting that Belcorra would want even the servant quarters to appear somewhat prestigious. The challenge was not to go overboard, since we still wanted the area to feel much more humble than the Haruvex Manor on Floor 4.For the mood, we aimed to keep the zone dark and eerie, as it marks the heroes’ first step into the dungeon. The level is also filled with torture devices, giving players an early glimpse into Belcorra’s sadistic nature.Floor 10: The Temple of NhimbalothLet's do one more floor reveal for today, the Temple. For this floor, we wanted to convey Nhimbaloth’s essence through the environment....

    February Playtesting Results

Greetings, Pathfinders! This month, we put the early game and overall user-experience to the test with two focused playtests diving deep into both singleplayer and multiplayer experiences. We wanted to see how differently the game feels depending on how you jumped in and gather targeted insights on how the onboarding, pacing, and overall sentiment shifted between solo and co-op play.Responses were good, too! We’re already seeing areas of improvement reflected in the total score for how people felt overall. But what really mattered to us were things like the controls and how easy it was for first-time players to pick up the game. We collected even more insights this round, analysing over 20 players per group and generated 300+ data points, including detailed info on how each hero was played. Here is a quick progress update to show you what we learned!First Time User Experience (FTUE)These tests were designed very intentionally on having fresh players who hadn't played the game before. That gave us a clear view of the first-time experience. As devs, that perspective is invaluable because it gives us an unbiased and unfiltered look at the true first-time experience.  We want players to feel confident from the moment they pick up the sticks, so it was great that they could jump in easily without needing directions on how to play and were able to drive straight into swinging weapons and crushing monsters.ControlsControls were another critical area for the test. Our testers consistently managed to perform actions like casting spells, switching heroes, and navigating the level as intended. There are still areas we’d like to make refine, such as improving targeting so spellcasting feels fluid, precise and intentional, particularly at long-range enemies. Overall ExperienceWe were thrilled to see so many exciting moments when we reviewed the gameplay footage, particularly during the multiplayer test where testers teamed up, adapted and overcome challenging encounters together....
