Embark on a thrilling adventure in Roam, an Action-RPG from Luv3nder that invites you to navigate the vast and mysterious landscapes of a procedurally generated world. Dive into ancient caves hidden under Azure Lake for treasures and secrets.
About this game

The lands of ROAM are filled with hidden treasures and ancient artifacts. Yet the greatest mystery lies beneath the Azure Lake, where a vast network of tunnels has existed since ancient times.
As a brave wanderer, you will descend into a dark world of forgotten caverns and underground ruins, explore its depths, and uncover the secrets hidden below.
Dungeons & Procedural Generation
The world of ROAM is a vast network of procedurally generated caves. Random hazards and events ensure that no two journeys are the same, but knowledge of previously explored areas, along with clever use of your equipment and consumables, will help you adapt to dangerous situations—or avoid them entirely.
Grappling Hook
One of the game's core mechanics is the Grappling Hook. Use it to latch onto walls, swing across chasms, discover hidden passages, escape from enemies, or pull them toward you. Both combat and platforming are deeply built around mastering this versatile tool.
Gameplay variety
In addition to deadly platforming, you will:
Fight your way through a hostile underground using a wide variety of weapons, equipment, and magic.
Gather resources and craft new gear and consumables at campfires.
Level up and unlock new skills by defeating enemies and crafting items.
Upgrade and enchant your equipment with the help of blacksmiths and alchemy.
Meet fellow wanderers on your descent, including merchants, mages, and craftsmen.
Search for secrets and treasures hidden in the deepest and most inaccessible corners of the underground.
Explore, fight, survive!

ROAM at the ChinaJoy Steam Festival!
My game, ROAM, will be featured at the ChinaJoy Steam Festival, which will take place from July 30 to August 6, and it will get its own showcase on Steam. When I got the notification about it, I couldn't believe it at first. This is the first festival I've ever managed to get into, and it's such a prestigious one.ROAM is the result of five years of development. I'm a solo developer who once had a dream that I had released a game on Steam about a lonely wanderer in a boat in the middle of the ocean. That very same day, I downloaded Unity and started watching tutorials on programming a character controller, convinced that I could do it all and that I'd be able to finish the game in a couple of years. After all, I knew how to draw (though not pixel art), write a little music, and code just a little from my computer science classes at school. And now, after all these years, it still doesn't quite feel real. Me and ROAM at the ChinaJoy Steam Festival! Thank you all so much for your support and patience! I'll be back very soon with more news about the ROAM demo and my plans for the game's future development.Read full article on Community Announcements (Muzy)
