  Kamilia: Definitive Edition Announced – No More AI

  Hi everyone, I'm extremely happy to reveal that—Kamilia – Definitive Editionis currently in the works and will be released in late 2026 or early 2027 for everyone who owns the game, as a completely free update.Among various improvements, the main feature of this big update will be the replacement of all AI-generated artwork in the game with original, handmade artwork.This process includes a combination of artwork created in-studio, as well as commissioned pieces from incredibly talented artists.The Definitive Edition will be the final major update for Kamilia, aside from ongoing technical and bug support, which will continue.Following the release of the Definitive Edition, the studio's main focus will shift to our next game. More details will follow in the near future.   Steam Deck Compatibility Issue Update

  Dear Kamilia players,After releasing Patch 1.14, which was intended to address Steam Deck compatibility issues, I submitted the latest version to Valve for another Steam Deck compatibility review. Unfortunately, Valve's latest review identified additional issues affecting the Steam Deck experience specifically. To ensure players have accurate expectations, Kamilia is now officially marked as Unsupported on Steam Deck. Kamilia is fully supported on Windows and macOS, with full support for both keyboard and Xbox controllers.At this time, Steam Deck is not an officially supported platform, and I do not recommend playing Kamilia on Steam Deck.I deeply apologize for the confusion.For the foreseeable future, Kamilia should be considered unsupported on Steam Deck to avoid confusion.   Hello everyone!It's been two weeks since Kamilia launched, and I'd like to thank everyone who has played the game,shared feedback, reported bugs, and left a review.Your feedback has been incredibly helpful and has already led to a number of improvements in this new patch.HighlightsCurrent objective is now displayed and updated in the menu/pause screen.Added the ability to open the menu/pause during dialogues (highly requested feature).Fixed a bug that prevented a specific achievement from unlocking.Multiple dialogue refinements.Multiple grammar and typo fixes.Improved dialogue pacing in several scenes.The "Easy Mode" option during the chase sequence is now offered after multiple failed attempts at several checkpoints, rather than after every attempt.Minor environmental polish (door title labels have been removed based on player feedback).Various quality-of-life improvements and stability fixes.Thank you again for your continued support. I'll continue listening to your feedback and improving Kamilia over time.
