Embark on a tense survival mission in Echoes of Fear, an indie action adventure where every step through the eerie valley could be your last. Navigate by an angelic statue and face a lurking creature as you race against time to retrieve the artifact.
About this game
Echoes of Fear: Remastered draws you into a forgotten valley, a place untouched by time, yet far from lifeless. Beneath the quiet fog and decaying homes, unseen voices stir, and something in the shadows seems to listen. Deep within the valley lies an ancient vault said to contain a powerful Artifact… but there is something, centuries old, guarding it.
Your task is simple: find the keys and unlock the vault and get out. Alive.
But as you explore, you’ll come to realize you’re not alone. The valley remembers — and it wants to be heard.
Gameplay Features
Explore the Forgotten Valley
Venture through dense fog, empty houses, and long-abandoned paths as you uncover the valley’s buried past.
The Spirit Box
Use a spirit box to communicate with lingering souls. Their voices echo faintly through static, offering guidance—or warnings. The signal grows stronger indoors, where the veil between worlds feels thin.
The Lurking Presence
Something follows you through the mist. It doesn’t speak, and it doesn’t stop. You may not always see it, but it always sees you. The only warnings of its approach: your heartbeat, growing louder and faster, and the booming echo of its footsteps.
Unbroken Immersion
No stamina limits. No torch restrictions. Just the sound of your footsteps, the hum of the spirit box, and the weight of what hides in the fog.
Lost the beast? Find the statue.
Once placed by the valley’s lost inhabitants, the angel’s sword serves as a grim guide to the creature stalking the shadows.
Can You Face What Watches You?
There are no weapons.
No safety.
Only whispers, shadows, and the echoes of what should have been forgotten.

The necessary Redevelopment is making progress
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to provide an important update on the game's development. Regrettably, due to complications with previous backups, I've had to rebuild Echoes of Fear from scratch. Progress stands at about 25%, and I'm working diligently to balance these efforts alongside existing family commitments. Your unwavering support means everything to me. While I'm targeting a release by the first quarter, I want to convey that there's potential for the game to be ready even sooner. However, please understand that these commitments might affect the timeline. Just a little technical hurdle..
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you regarding a recent setback that has affected the development of my game. It's one of those moments every developer hopes to avoid but occasionally faces: a technical hiccup that has caused quite a disruption. Unfortunately, I encountered an unexpected issue with my system where Windows experienced a critical failure, necessitating a complete reinstallation. While I had backups in place, the challenge arose when I discovered that Unreal Engine 5.0 was no longer available for download after the reinstall. Adapting to the situation, I promptly transitioned the game version to UE5.3, hoping for a seamless continuation. However, despite my efforts, I encountered obstacles in opening the game. Rest assured, I'm diligently exploring various workarounds to ensure that the game is fully operational before delivering it to you. I truly appreciate your patience and support during this time. Your enthusiasm and encouragement mean the world to me, especially as an indie developer navigating the intricacies of game development. It's humbling to have such an incredible community standing by my side. Should my attempts to rectify the issue fall short, regrettably, I may need to rebuild the game from scratch. This could potentially result in alterations to the map layout and foliage, impacting the current gameplay experience. Updates may be temporarily suspended until I can restore the game to its original state or reimagine a completely new map design. Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who have invested in this project. Your unwavering support motivates me to overcome these challenges and deliver an exceptional gaming experience. Rest assured, I'm working tirelessly to resolve this setback and bring you the game you deserve. Rest assured, should anyone feel that this inconvenience affects their experience, refunds will be available hassle-free.
