Embark on a challenging journey as you navigate through diverse environments, collecting treasures and mastering new abilities. Can you reach the pinnacle of Dragon Hop's precision platforming?

About this game

Dragon Hop is a challenging 3D precision platformer collectathon. Play as a dragon hatchling who got left behind in a strange world. Collect tokens to unlock abilities and appearances. Get stronger, climb higher and find clues that can give an explanation to the world around you. Try not to fall!

Are you ready to prove yourself? Well, start climbing!

Falling

Dragon Hop is all about getting as high as you can get, to see all this world has to offer. Naturally, slipping, falling, and trying again plays a big part in that. Your journey will be hard, but there are ways for the keen-eyed and curious to make it easier.

Treasures

If you like exploring, in Dragon Hop you shall be greatly rewarded, as there are plenty of treasures scattered around the world, waiting for you to find them! Found a hidden door? There's likely a golden chest waiting on the other side. See a cave entrance? Time for spelunking! Who knows what kind of crystals may lie beneath the earth?

Upgrades

Are your pockets full of treasures? Well, it's time to use them! Speak with your dragon guide to exchange crystals and learn new skills for your dragon. Gliding? No problem! Spitting fireballs? Bring on the heat! Flying? If you just believe, there shall be nothing stopping you from touching the sky!

Obstacles

Your path shall not be easy. Sometimes a well-calculated jump will not be enough: you may have to dodge some nasty traps too! Be sure to keep on your feet in those moments, otherwise you could face a few setbacks.

Some obstacles can move indeed, but some are straight up sentient! Watch out for these creatures. They are here to make your journey more difficult. Will you try to outsmart them or give them a taste of fiery heat? Up to you!

Interactions

Having a hard time hopping? See if you can use your environment to your advantage. From riding animals, to activating forgotten constructs - sailing boats to opening portals, never shy away from some exploring. Curiosity kills cats, not dragons!

Clues

Why are you here? What happened? What’s the point to any of this? These are great questions. Perhaps the answers don’t even matter, we could just be here for fun. But maybe…, just maybe there is more to this chaotic world than meets the eye. Let’s see if you can unravel the mystery…

Difficulty

Not a fan of hardcore platforming? Try Exploration mode! Dragon Hop aims to bridge the gap between those who like to suffer a bit and those who are just looking for a cosy ride.

In Exploration mode you can look for Feathers to unlock checkpoints with, and save your progress. It’s good for some practice too!

However, should you choose Hardcore mode, you shall be rewarded with special appearances and additional achievements for your efforts.

Happy Hopping!

    Dragon Hop 1.1.1

Hello Everyone! In this update I wanted to add a few more ways to make it possible to finish the game faster, if you know where to look. This will likely be the last time where I make major changes of such nature, as I don't want to ruin / "patch out" anyone's speedrun strategy. This of course does not mean that I won't try to fix bugs or add some stuff later, it just means that I'm overall happy with the pace of the game and how fast you can progress if you use everything at your disposal.Apart from this, I've fixed a few bugs, tokens out of place, and slightly changed the post processing, making some zones less dark and contrast-y (thanks for the feedback DovinArt!).The full patch notes:owls are now a bit peckyadded a few more shortcutsadded more dragon fruitincreased the knockback effect on some obstaclesslightly adjusted post processing, for clearer visualsfixed the position on some unreachable tokensfixed some of the golems not working properlyfixed some cases where mounting/dismounting rhinos caused the dragon to get stuckfixed a few colliders and some parts of the mapIt's great to see your screenshots, feedback and discussions about the game, Despite how few people were interested in the game, it brings me joy to see some of you have so much fun with it! Thank you!

    Dragon Hop 1.1.0

Hello Everyone!I've been working on a major patch these past few weeks, and it's finally time to share it with you. I've been monitoring your feedback, comments, reviews and livestreams to see what is most crucial to improve upon to make the game better as quickly as I can. Many of you have requested multiple saves to be able to play Exploration and Hardcore mode simultaneously, so now you can have up to 3 separate saves. Another frequent feedback was that the movement felt floaty & a bit weird. Now the movement while jumping should feel much better and you have more control in case you get knocked away by some obstacles (they are still pretty dangerous though). I've also added more ways to ascend the levels quicker these include new items or just plain old changes to the zones. You can probably speedrun the game under 2 hours, if you try hard enough ;)There are many more changes, these are just the highlights, if you're interested, you can find the full changelog below.Patch notes:expanded the save system, now you can have up to 3 saved games, allowing you to switch between different modes without losing your progressadded a slight air control to jumping, previously you could only control yourself once you started falling, but this change should give you a little more control overall while jumpingadded more air control in cases where the dragon is knocked away by obstaclesbackwards input while fast jumping will initially slow the jump slightly, instead of immediately turning the dragon around to prevent you from overcorrecting jumps by accidentmade entering and exiting gliding smootherfixed an issue where trying to toggle glide on the ground caused you to start gliding the next time you fell by itselfadded prompt for save points in hardcore mode reminding you that you can save & exit in these zonesadded UI description for coins and feathers to the pause menufixed colliders of cliffs in the Labyrinth Temple zone making them properly climbableadded more spots in the L...
