About this game

A lively parade with hololive VTubers and mascot characters!

"HoloParade" is a fan game of hololive and the first title to serve as a test case for "holo Indie". Collect, nurture, and enjoy watching your favorite characters! It's a 2D tower defense game that offers depth, strategy, and can also be enjoyed casually.

To hololive fans:
This game is designed for players who enjoy strategy and trial and error, and involves exploring various formations and play styles suited to each stage. With stages featuring a variety of characteristics and characters having their specific strengths and weaknesses, please note that you cannot easily clear all stages with just your favorite characters. With careful character development and strategic gameplay, you can clear stages up to the end credits with a favorite formation, but subsequent high-difficulty stages will require formations tailored to the enemies.

Feature 1: Simple Yet Deep, Lively Battles

The basic system is a classic 2D tower defense game where you summon characters from your base and march them forward to destroy the enemy's base to win. While the controls are simple, the gameplay is profoundly deep. With over 65 characters, each possessing a variety of abilities like ally healing support and self-destruct attacks, skillful combination and flexible formation are key to enjoying the game.

Additionally, there's an element inspired by parades called the 'Symphony Effect,' where various effects are activated based on the musical instruments played by the characters in march. This adds further strategic depth to the formation of your parade squad and the order of their summoning.

Feature 2: Comprehensive Development Elements

In addition to leveling up and limit breaking, there is a 'Skill' system that allows you to add special abilities not available through regular development. Since you can add up to three types of skills to each character and select them carefully, you can enjoy a unique development process! Furthermore, since you can reset levels and get a full refund of the coins spent, it allows for more freedom in restructuring formations and character development.

Feature 3: No Gacha Purchases, No Stamina System

The scout gacha, which allows you to acquire characters, can be used by consuming tickets obtained within the game, with no additional purchases required. Also, as there is no stamina system, you are not bound by time and can play as much as you like, whenever you like.

Moreover, the scout gacha allows you to choose from two randomly selected character candidates, enabling players to make selections based on their strategy or preference rather than leaving it entirely to chance.

Feature 4: Take a Break with Various Talents and Mini-Games in the Office

When you return to the office, the home screen, you'll be greeted by newly recorded voice lines from Harusaki Nodoka, a staff member of hololive. In the office, talents from hololive may also make appearances, and you might witness some unexpected interactions.

Additionally, mini-games with gameplay entirely different from the main story have been implemented. These games allow you to collect coins necessary for character strengthening. For now, the mini-games titled "Hurry Up! Miko-Chi!" and "Dancing Subaru" are available. In "Hurry Up! Miko-Chi!", Sakura Miko (a VTuber affiliated with Hololive), who has overslept, dashes at full speed towards her destination while avoiding obstacles.

    🎺Update Information for 5/1🎺

I have implemented the following updates for #HoloParade: ・Changes to A-chan's Power-Up Options Through Deck Pre-organization Previously, during the parade, power-ups were chosen randomly from four options at each level up. I have changed this so that power-ups now follow the pre-organized order of the deck. This eliminates the random uncertainties during the parade, allowing for complete control through formation. You can strategize whether to extend the range from the early stages or to delay range increases until the latter half to avoid pushing the front line too early. Additionally, we have removed the need to check, decide, and select from options with each level up, thus eliminating the hassle during repeated stage plays. The Power-Up deck is initially available in eight user-friendly versions, and you can edit the deck, including changing its name, as needed. There is also a Help & Tips page available, which you can check from the menu on the left side of the home screen. In accordance with the above, I have revised the descriptions regarding A-chan's power-ups in tutorial of 1-3 and on the Help & Tips page. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44750336/ac877d4ff9f6d72bafc67d3967bf3208e2dffe12.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44750336/1951ab170b78f095d9331faa7e43e89ae5470b34.png ・Instrument Switching / Unleash State Now Saved Per Parade Formation Previously, the state of instrument switching and ability unleashing was saved for each talent individually. With this change, these are now saved per parade formation. As a result, the state of the parade formation can now be fully saved and reproduced. ・Noel Milk Possession Cap and Alternative Addition Upon Acquisition Noel Milk has typically been acquired more frequently than it is used, leading to a surplus as the game progresses. Therefore, I have set a possession cap of 100 for Noel Milk, and if this cap is reached, 1000 coins will be obtained instead. This change is also reflected in the gacha scree...

    💡Update Information for 4/25💡

I have implemented the following updates for #HoloParade: ■ Update Details ・Implementation of Skill Upgrade After reaching Lv30, you will now earn Skill Upgrade points every 40 Skill obtaining. You can perform a Skill Upgrade by consuming one point in the Talent Upgrade screen, selecting one of the possessed skills, and upgrading it (to one rank higher within the same type). Gold is the highest rank.Aiming for the highest rank previously incurred extremely high costs for refining skills. Considering the addition of high-difficulty stages in recent updates, I have made it easier to refine skills. In high-difficulty stages, the most crucial aspects are formation and gameplay. The stages are designed to be sufficiently clearable without refining skills. However, by selectively refining your skills, you can expand the range of viable formations and create more opportunities for your favorite characters to shine. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44750336/8ffc7f5e21ebcedca344b86c44fb86bb6a9a9d1c.png ・Added selection of Featured Talents in Scout Gacha You can now specify Featured Talents for each gacha. By designating a desired talent as Featured, it becomes easier to obtain than other talents of the same rarity. Normally, unobtained talents are more likely to appear, and if there is a duplicate, an automatic re-draw occurs once. However, talents designated as Featured are not subject to automatic re-draws even if duplicated. The probabilities for each rarity, such as UR or SR, remain unchanged, so there is no significant impact on game balance. This setup makes it easier for players to personally draw their favorite talents. ・Added consideration for when a talent that is fully limit-broken appears in Scout Gacha Previously, if a talent that was fully limit-broken was scouted, nothing was obtained. Now, you can receive either 5,000 coins or a scout ticket randomly. Additionally, as compensation to players who have already fully maxed out lim...
