  🗺️ Devlog #1 — Community Rebuild Survey: Results Are In!

  Hey everyone,We launched our first Community Rebuild Survey on March 18th, and the results are ready. Here's everything the community said and what it means for the roadmap.📊 By the Numbers7 responses in the first wave6 players want to participate in playtests6 players want to be credited as contributors6 players want monthly community polls to continue🏗️ Core DirectionGame structure: The community is split almost evenly between pure Singleplayer (43%) and Singleplayer + Co-op (43%). Nobody asked for fully competitive multiplayer co-op with friends is the clear direction. Game scope: Renovation + Decoration leads at 43%, with Full Simulation (economy + management) close behind at 29%. Several players suggested combining both which is exactly what we're thinking too. Depth level: "Medium" and "player-chosen difficulty" tied at 43%. Nobody wants the game to be too casual, but nobody wants hardcore either. Flexibility is key.⚙️ Most Requested MechanicsEvery single respondent selected Renovation. Here's the full ranking:🔨 Renovation — 7/7🏠 Construction — 6/7🧑 NPC Clients — 6/7💰 Economy System — 5/7🌍 Open World — 5/7🏘️ Renting — 5/7🤝 Negotiation — 4/7Community additions: Auctions/bidding, landscaping, career progression, pets, furniture customization.🎮 Overall Game Feel57% want a Balanced feel, 29% Realistic. Nobody picked Arcade. This tells us: simulation depth matters, but fun and playability always come first.❌ What to Absolutely AvoidThe community was clear on what we should NOT do:Bad textures / low visual qualityIgnoring small detailsForcing multiplayer on everyoneToo few decoration, paint, or floor optionsUnnecessary complexity or bloat🗳️ Roadmap Feedback71% said the roadmap system is great — keep going.
