Embark on a relentless hunt as Slitterhead challenges you to eliminate the bodiless Hyoki across the dangerous streets of a neon-lit metropolis, all from Bokeh Game Studio.
About this game
Set in the densely cluttered streets of "Kowlong," filled with obscurity and chaos, this battle action-adventure game casts players as the "Hyoki," an entity devoid of memory and physical form. His only motive is to eradicate the monstrous beings known as "Slitterheads" crawling around the city, disguising themselves as humans.
Roaming the vibrant neon-lit cityscape, players must seek out allies among humans known as "Rarities," infiltrate and track dangerous organizations, and engage in battles harnessing the power of blood. As the suspenseful drama unfolds, delve into the mystery behind Hyoki's existence and the appearance of the Slitterheads.
Bodiless "Hyoki" Exposes the Demons Nesting in the Red Light District
The entity called "Hyoki" finds himself wandering amidst the chaos of Kowlong, plagued by the enigmatic monsters known as "Slitterheads" which mimic humans. Though bereft of all memories, he holds one resolute intention: to eradicate every last Slitterhead. Infiltrating the city, he sets out on a mission to hunt down the Slitterheads masquerading within human society.

Possession-based High Speed Action
Devoid of physical form, Hyoki's ability allows him to possess and control human bodies at will, turning the people wandering the city into his pawns. With this power he can slip through barriers, assume the identity of specific individuals, and infiltrate dangerous areas and organizations. By rapidly switching hosts, he can also traverse the city at high speed.

Thrilling Combat Using the Power of Blood
While human bodies are fragile, Hyoki can burn their life force, turning blood into weapons to confront the ferocious Slitterheads. Even when critically wounded, he can continue fighting by switching hosts efficiently. By possessing "Rarities", specific humans who share high sync with Hyoki, he is able to unleash even more powerful attacks and activate various abilities. The cooperative relationship with these "Rarities" holds the key to uncovering the deepening mysteries in the city of Kowlong.

Silent Hill Director Keiichirō Toyama Reflects on His Career at Lucca Comics & Games
Lucca Comics & Games brings people in comics, gaming and media together from all over the world, and this year, we were able to sit down with Silent Hill director Keiichirō Toyama to discuss his storied career. From early beginnings with Konami to a long period working with Sony, Toyama co-founded his own studio, Bokeh Studios, in 2020. The studio just launched its first title, Slitterhead, back in November 2024. Though his best-known role was director of the original Silent Hill in the 90s, he also directed, wrote and designed the Siren series, the Gravity Rush franchise, and more. Through a translator, we were able to ask Toyama about the resurgence of Japanese horror, why he made some of the game decisions he did, and even gained some insight into what inspired Silent Hill all those years ago! Welcome to Lucca Comics & Games! What do you think of the festival so far? Keiichirō Toyama: This city has a beautiful historical side, and that side is mixed with a... Slitterhead (PS5) Review
Slitterhead, developed by veterans from Team Silent, Project Siren, and the Gravity Rush series, sparked significant anticipation when it was revealed, with many eager to see what these horror greats could deliver. Given the developers’ pedigree, it promised a unique horror experience. But with the first gameplay look at Summer Game Fest 2024 and some mixed hands-on previews, it seemed we were in for a mostly awkward and strange experience. After roughly 15 hours of play, I’m here to tell you things are far worse than I had anticipated. At its core, Slitterhead attempts to weave a narrative steeped in psychological and body horror elements. The game opens with an intriguing premise involving the Night Owl, a supernatural entity capable of possessing various beings, from dogs to humans. Much like how the game thrusts players into the thick of it, the narrative quickly reveals itself to be disjointed and sometimes incoherent. The journey begins when the Night Owl, having lost...
