About this game
Smith’s Chronicles is a cozy blacksmithing life sim about forging tools, fulfilling requests, and rebuilding a quiet town through the art of craftsmanship. Step into the boots of a young smith returning to their hometown, Grandall, and help breathe life back into the village. Mine ore, gather resources, and manage your workshop as every item you craft strengthens bonds, restores prosperity, and opens new paths for the community.
Craft a wide range of tools and weapons, from smelting ore to assembling fine equipment. Help townsfolk with their daily needs and rebuild the town with your craft.
Run your own blacksmith shop: set up displays and manage inventory. Upgrade your store and decorate your storefront to attract more customers.
Mine, hunt, cut down trees, forage, and fish. Discover new biomes, gather precious resources, and turn them into tools that help Grandall thrive.
Forge friendships, pursue romance, and discover unique tales from the many races that call Grandall home. Create a welcoming and safe place for refugees and migrants from many regions of the world. Every connection opens the door to new stories.
Complete main story quests, daily requests, and special events. Earn gold, rare resources, and most importantly, deepen your relationships with the people of Grandall.

Greetings blacksmiths! Welcome to the development log of Smith’s Chronicles, August 2026 edition. There are plenty of updates and events to share with you.Development UpdatesSmelting System UpdateBased on playtester feedback, many players think smelting is instant, but it is not; you need to wait a bit for it to finish. The smelting timer is now updated with a clearer visual cue, so players can see how much in-game time they need to wait during the smelting process.Cooking Mechanic UpdateBecause you will get so many coals, we figured why not use them for cooking too? Not for ingredients, of course! For fueling your stoveGraphic Setting UpdateWe recognize that gamers have diverse PC and monitor specifications and preferences, so we aim to ensure the broadest possible compatibility. So, we added windowed and fullscreen settings, added resolution settings from 1024 x 768 to 1920 x 1080, VSync, and FPS caps.Movement tutorialWe noticed from observing players during events that our basic controls aren't very intuitive for some, so now we've added a mini tutorial so players can enjoy the game more seamlessly.Busan Indie Connect 2026Smith's Chronicles had the opportunity to showcase our game at Busan Indie Connect with the support of Indonesia's Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs. We’re happy that so many South Korean gamers and non-gamers alike are finally trying our game demo. We can gather much feedback and make observations to make our game better.
