Goofy Gorillas v2026.0 Patch Notes - The (metaphorical) Banana Market Boom!

It's the first update of 2026 (quite late, I know), and there's a lot of new content and changes to show! There have been some significant improvements made to Apocalypse, the Toybox & Shop's debut, the Refurbished map's new make-over, a gamemode tidy-up and much, much more! The New Toybox & Goofy Shop! It's the time where Bananas finally have their moment to shine! The Toybox & Shop makes their debut in this update, allowing players to use their hard-earned Bananas to purchase recolours for their weapons! This update introduces the first batch of cosmetics for all weapons (excluding the Magic Wand), featuring mainly some basic recolouring, all for a fairly affordable amount of Bananas! In the Apocalypse: Part 1 update, players could earn Bananas and many other items from playing Apocalypse, the newest gamemode. These items didn't have any immediate value, but now you can sell Apocalypse items in The Goofy Shop for Bananas. That's not all! Players can earn Bananas from playing all gamemodes, so you can still work your way towards some new weapon cosmetics! If earning Bananas in the most efficient way is what you want to do, then playing Apocalypse is the way to go. Apocalypse Just Got More Chaotic! So, you thought zombies with Squeaky Hammers running mindlessly at the survivors wasn't enough? The zombies thought so too! They have constructed an army of special zombies that have their own ways to complete one mission: eliminate the survivors! Below are the enlisted special zombies. The Biohazard Zombie: They first appeared in the initial Apocalypse update, but now they are slightly more dangerous - however, they are now wearing an appropriate outfit so you'll know when they're coming! If you see a zombie in a bright hazmat suit and a peg covering its nose, be prepared to move away from the incoming stink bomb... The Thief: Despite not being a physical threat to the survivors and are always seen with a briefcase, these zombies have been tasked to steal the survivor's cash...

Goofy Gorillas v2025.7 Patch Notes - Apocalypse: Part 1

Welp, it's definitely not the spooky season anymore so this update is slightly late... anyways... This update brings the first co-op/solo gamemode to Goofy, which will reward players with a new currency that will be used to buy cosmetics for weapons! Apocalypse! A zombie outbreak has occurred at Goofy Gorillas and those pesky zombies have broken into the storage room and stolen a bunch of Squeaky Hammers! Now, they want the survivors! Oh the horror... Fortunately for the survivors, they are equipped with weapons and will be able to find other weapons and other power-ups in various places around the new jungle gym. These will not be free, of course (not in this economy), so you'll have to earn cash by taking out the zombies in order to progress. Do beware, the zombies can be a little aggressive... So, New Jungle Gym? This new Apocalypse-exclusive jungle gym takes the shape of the existing Refurbished map, but is reimagined with a nostalgic aesthetic. There is, however, a slight catch... The zombies didn't just steal the hammers, but they have also torn the jungle gym to shreds! Netting is falling apart, trampolines are ripped and slides have caved-in. At least they left some conveniently clear paths to navigate around the map. Bananas! With the introduction of Apocalypse comes a new currency: Bananas! They function in a similar way to Goofy Points, except these Bananas can only be earned through Apocalypse. The purchasable cosmetic rewards will make their debut in the second part of the Apocalypse update, which will arrive at a later date. In the second part of the Apocalypse update, there will be a way to trade in the excess items that are gained from playing Apocalypse for more Bananas. These items may also have their own value in the future too, so be sure to stock up on the new items from Apocalypse! Other Notes Playing Goofy Gorillas during December 2025 will unlock some exclusive cosmetics. Snow has covered the carpets and the Christmas tree is temporarily plac...

Goofy Gorillas v2025.6 Patch Notes - Locked and Loaded!

This update features the next weapon added to the already stacked arsenal in Goofy, a revision to all current guns, Prop Hunt becoming available on the Refurbished map and a bunch of extra additions and changes! New Weapon: Goofy Revolver! It has been a while since a new weapon has been added to Goofy. This time, it's one of the most iconic type of guns - a revolver! But it's not just a revolver, it's the Goofy Revolver (of course)! This weapon really packs a punch, but with great power comes... a lot of recoil. The Goofy Revolver requires precision and stability, so don't expect to hit your shots while you're running or jumping! What would a revolver be without the iconic ricochet sounds? If silly ricochet sounds and serious firepower is what you want, then this is the weapon of choice for you. In addition to the new added weapon, the Goofy Rifle and Dualies now have damage dropoff. Each weapon will have varying levels of effectiveness over a long distance. A summary of each weapon is shown below. Goofy Rifle: Moderate fire-rate, good damage at a distance. Goofy Dualies: Fast fire-rate, only effective when close. Goofy Revolver: Very slow fire-rate, very high damage at all distances. Prop Hunt - Refurbished! That's right! You've asked for it, now you've got it! Prop Hunt is now available to play on the Refurbished map. As the map has so many places to hide (even as a non-prop), it was decided that the Refurbished map would not support Prop Hunt in the initial update. But, for the masochists that wanted Prop Hunt to be even more challenging, this update is for you! Other Notes - Increased the default pre-timer duration for Prop Hunt to 30 seconds. - Hiders are now automatically morphed into a random large prop when starting a round of Prop Hunt. - Extended the playable area + further changes and additions in The Complex map. - Increased the additional damage that Dodgeballs deal when hitting the head and chest (from a v2025.5 mini-update). - Fixed an issue where ano...

Goofy Gorillas v2025.5 - The Case of the Mystical Easter Eggs!

New Easter Egg Challenge: Find Easter Eggs? The Ghoulish Gorilla is back again... and he has yet another project. This time, he is in need of some Easter eggs. At Easter. How convenient! He doesn't want any ordinary Easter eggs. No, of course not. That would be too boring and predictable. Instead, he wants Mystical Easter eggs! They can only be found once a certain riddle has been solved... To figure out how to complete the riddles, you'll need to venture to the Secret Den HQ, located somewhere within one of the jungle gyms. In the HQ, you will find a board that will give you a hint on what to do next. Once you've seen the hints, you'll need to get creative! Don't worry, it shouldn't be too difficult. Once all riddles have been solved and all Easter eggs have been collected, you'll be rewarded with some unique Easter-themed cosmetics! Other Notes - You can now choose which version of DirectX to use when launching Goofy. For those using lower-end systems, using DirectX 11 is recommended. - Crouching is now client-sided. The inputs and animations will now be responsive and smoother for clients. - Added a crouch toggle option in the general options. - Jumping and climbing is now possible while being in a crouched state. - In Prop Hunt, playing as a small prop will now enable collision against other physics objects. - Updated the hoodie model and the socks model. - Cleaned up the 'ready up' UI and added a new keybind to go straight to the Game Settings as the host. - Added warning strips in the sweeper section + button sections in The Complex. - Added signage to some key locations within the maps, such as the football/soccer field and the space room. - Slight performance improvements. sponge

Goofy Gorillas v2025.4.3 Patch Notes - Prop Hunt "1.5"

This is a smaller update that aims to make Prop Hunt more balanced and overall more enjoyable for both the Hiders and the Hunters. - Hunters in Prop Hunt will now take damage when hitting props that aren't the Hiders. If they get eliminated, they will lose 5 points (negative points now possible). Stink Bombs are exempt from this, so they should be used to clear out large amounts of props without taking damage. - Hunters will fully refill their health if they eliminate a Hider prop. - Added a "?" that appears as a Hunter when a prop makes a taunt sound nearby. The "?" will not reveal the exact location of the prop. - Removed the holes in the metal gate at the bathroom entrance. - The taunt sound delay durations have been reduced. Some Other Notes - Made some adjustments to the slide momentum + added ability to look around while maintaining the sliding momentum. - Time Trials will now record your movement and will show a ghost of your personal best run starting from this update. Previous personal best runs will not be counted. - The sweeper is now deactivated at the start of each round in Prop Hunt. The initial speed of the sweeper has been reduced when starting any other gamemode. sponge
