In Fair Spirits

About this game

A standalone boys love spin-off of the two-part yuri fantasy series, The Fairy's Song and The Fairy's Secret.

In the distant past, when England was split into various warring factions, Edmund lived a quiet life with his father and his younger sister, Leofe. Edmund wanted nothing more than to protect his sister...

But, despite Edmund’s best efforts, their relationship crumbled.

Now, almost one thousand years in the future, Edmund has been reincarnated in the small English village of Fenchapel. He is still grappling with his complex feelings about his younger sister, who perished many, many centuries ago…

And he has even more to contend with when he meets a smiley young man called Abel with a mischievous streak.

Talking to Abel initially helps Edmund put his past behind him, but what is he to do when Abel’s smiling façade begins to slip?

There is much more to Abel than one might initially suspect – and, over time, Edmund begins to see in his new companion in a brand new light.

Extra Chapter of BL VN All Scars and Starlight has been released!

Hello everyone! I've been working on this project for a while, and I'm proud to announce that I've released some DLC for my grimdark boys 'love' visual novel, All Scars and Starlight. https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/1ee7b35019a5a9402a2d6188f4c7c4960cb361b2.png Scars is a BL story about a king whose throne was stolen from him in a coup, and the romance(?) which unfolds between the deposed king and his captor. As one might expect from the premise, it's rather grim, the characters have an incredibly unhealthy relationship dynamic, and there's a lot of drama. This is also an r18 visual novel with a fair amount of explicit scenes, so it is not appopriate for anybody under the age of 18. https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/fb5691e059eba55c88397ffab76e1f78b1914f81.png The DLC adds about 80,000 words extra to the story, and it takes place one year after the 'good' and 'true' endings, but before the timeskip to the epilogues of both endings. To read the bonus chapter, you need to update the base game, buy the DLC, then read through either the 'good' or 'true' ending. You should be able to access the DLC after that. Please note: you will need to clear these two endings again, even if you achieved them once already, because I had to edit the code of the game a little to allow for the DLC to unlock. You can find the base game here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2827190/All_Scars_and_Starlight/ And the DLC here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4279090/All_Scars_and_Starlight__Extra_chapter/ I hope you enjoy it, if miserable anime boys crying a lot are your thing! I know they're mine! You should heed the content warnings for this VN carefully, though, since there's some dark stuff here. - ebi x

Cute BL VN Where the Heart Rests has been released!

Hi everyone, Quick post to let you know that my cute new BL visual novel Where the Heart Rests has been released. It's a wholesome slice of life story inspired by the anime Usagi Drop. It's about a couple of men who adopt a young child. There's a lot of domestic fluff here, and some yearning between the two adult leads. The romantic relationship is a bit of a slowburn, and it's kind of lowkey. There's also a fair bit of hurt/comfort here because I think it's cute! This should be a nice read for people who like cosy and cute romance stories with relatively low stakes and some light drama. https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/b42dabbf4075a2c61a31bbea295c85d2329bfea6.png https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/55e0748c4d06143f246b1749b7c484d0ada9496a.png You can buy the VN here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4099090/ But please read the mature content warning. There is no r18 content in this visual novel, but it might contain some themes which would upset people. - ebi x

The story is very light-hearted, and it was partially inspired by Chobits. The story contains a little bit of drama, but it does have a happy ending, and it doesn't contain any especially upsetting content. I think this would be a good story to read if you want something sweet and hopeful to cheer you up! https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/f1ac87c6cd5f090f8e9e57e7cbade1befa261849.png There is an adult patch for the game available on Steam, but it isn't necessary to enjoy the story. Beneath the Bleeding Moon has been released!

Hello everybody, I'm making an announcement to let you know that Beneath the Bleeding Moon has (finally) been released! https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/70b21da0c6eb39cb7c621a16a085042789719102.png I first showed off the demo of this VN 2 years ago, so getting it across the finish line was a bit of a challenge haha ;; I persevered, however, and now the full visual novel is out! Bleeding Moon is a historical boys' love visual novel set in Japan. Follow Haru, a cross-dressing young man, as he goes on a journey with the devious thief, Kishou, to break an ancient curse. Bleeding Moon is a little different from my usual visual novels in that it's less of a character drama and more of an adventure story. There's quite a few fight scenes, and it's (generally) light-hearted in tone, though there are a few darker moments. https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/58a3b3f6c751b8dc76294c111b49a75b8e9c367a.png There's also an r18 patch for anybody who wants it, which adds about 20k more words to the story and several animated(!!!) r18 scenes. This is the first time I've added animated adult CGs into any of my VNs, so I hope people enjoy it. You can check the VN out here if you're curious: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2553080 Thank you for all of your support over the years! It's appreciated! I'll keep working hard to make more visual novels that people will enjoy! - ebi x

How to Melt a Maiden's Heart has been released! \o/

Hello everyone! I'm writing a post to let you know that my newest BL VN, How to Melt a Maiden's Heart (or Melty Heart for short), has been released! Yay \o/ https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/efbfe94f60616a4bb726cfa3fa288e2246e53e46.png Melty Heart is a cute slice of life story set on the fictional Japanese island of Omorishima (whose name might ring a bell if you've read my earlier yuri VN, My Dear Prince. The VNs take place on the same island and there's a couple of references to MDP in Melty Heart.) The story centers around Reo, a delinquent who doesn't care about his grades, or his appearance, or school in general, and Yuuma, the serious head of the student council who's always picking fights with Reo. Reo can't stand Yuuma, and the feeling is mutual... But this changes when Reo discovers, quite by accident, that Yuuma has been working part-time at a local café while dressing as a maid. Reo uses this knowledge to his advantage, and decides to blackmail Yuuma. He coerces Yuuma into helping him with his Love Quest to win over his childhood friend, Chinami. Reo's sure, with Yuuma's help, Chinami will finally fall for him, and they'll be able to live happily ever after... So why does Reo keep thinking about Yuuma, damn it?! https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/33024327/3280d29ca52b8266170dfe821c52a4c040c276fc.png This VN is suitable for all ages and doesn't contain any sexual content or anything particularly fanservicey, apart from a brief scene of Reo in the bath. There's some cursing, but nothing too excessive. The VN is available on PC, mac, and linux, and you can check it out here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3096440 As always, I hope you enjoy it, and happy early holidays! - ebi x
