Ahoy, Skylanders! 🏴☠️ Take a quick scouting trip through our new path of death: the Skinless Base! Which part sparks your seafaring curiosity the most? For many moons, we’ve been toiling over the creation of this new region, and now we can finally reveal it to the Crew! We poured oceans of sweat into it: map design, concepts, terrain sculpting, decorations, and all that enchanted work needed to make this place look like a true wonder of the world. We’ve also introduced plenty of new gameplay systems here: farming, cannon shooting, looting, and much more! 🖤 But the work is far from over. Creating a game is like sailing across stormy seas, constant tweaks, new elements, and polishing every corner. Although the region is already fully playable, it still awaits more pirate finesse, decorations, and content! PlayTest v2 is live!
From there, you set off on adventures that reveal the stories of your crewmates in a world of pirate legends. Each mission takes place in a different location the streets of London, the canals beneath the city, Treasure Island, and more. During missions, you gather gold and resources used to upgrade your character and boost the crew’s morale. This lets you enter the next mission better prepared. You can replay missions as many times as you want, since enemies and loot are randomized. What truly matters is that Franco is part of a much bigger legend one he doesn’t understand yet, but will uncover over time. For now, the only thing he knows is that, for some reason, every time he dies… he goes back in time.
