About this game
the World of Daymare
Daymare Town is a hand-drawn puzzle adventure game. You find yourself in a heart of a strange city populated by peculiar Metamorph creatures. This town is full of nooks and crannies, puzzles, secrets and items to collect to help you along the way. Can you escape the nightmare of a day?

Story
You are not alone here. You will meet peculiar daymare inhabitants. Some of them will help you, some need your help. Almost everyone has a story. You can choose to learn those stories if you just listen or look carefully at the environmental storytelling.

Puzzles
You will have to dive deep into the nooks and crannies of this town in order to solve all its mysteries and puzzles, of which are plenty. The better part of them will have you fighting the entropy of a town, bringing back signal to noise. There are also creatures here that need your help, look at them closely to learn who they are and what they need from you. You will have an inventory of items to use while solving puzzles.

Graphics
Entire game is hand-drawn. There's nothing auto-generated nor procedural. There's no AI used in any capacity. Each location was thoughtfully designed. Its stylized and sketchy character emphasizes the eerie atmosphere of an unshaped nightmare you found yourself in.

Music
Piano music for this game was created by contemporary composer Alex Voytenko. His style of music perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of unspoken madness permeating this town.

Month one update. Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Svenska and Português Brasileiro.
You can change the game language from the settings submenu.-This is also a month-one update and besides all the languages I made some final polishing changes:once again I tweaked the save system. Now the game looks at what is in your save folder and doesn't throw a fit if something is missing, but just calmly omits that missing thing and moves onto next savefile. Even if you still have some old savefiles from the demo - the game ingores them and is only looking for new ones, made in the official release version.I heard that it is hard to find all the small Deus Ex cogs in chapter 3. I made it a little easier to find the one on the Ra Square...After the egg theft in chapter 2 museum someone also decided to switch around some paintings on walls. Now they're in their right places, story telling wise.-I think this is it. I don't see nothing else to fix or tweak to make it better right now. But I will be on a lookout for your suggestions that might appear in comments or discussions. Maybe you'll find something else to fix. If that happens - more updates will follow. If not - see you in year-one update? :DCheers!msRead full article on Community Announcements (the Architect)Patch NotesOfficial
Week one Patch
ver 1.1.8//This was a busy week. Which is normal after the launch. I was updating the game daily, we're at build 1.1.8 as of today. //I've fixed multiple smaller bugs and oversights reported by you guys. Thank you so much for letting me know.//There's also one bigger change to the story / logic / lore that I decided to patch, since it was a bit confusing as it was in the initial build.//I'm talking about you, the player losing your inventory items after finishing chapter two.//Now, the story beat was that you crashed your balloon and you lost your items, maybe they were lost in the fog, maybe stolen, who knows.//The problem was that many players considered this a bug of sorts, a softlock, and were wondering if further gameplay was even possible.//You see, none of those items you lost were crucial for finishing the game. They were optional and used for two endgame achievements. I knew that, but you haven't. I understand the concern.//Therefore I decided to give you back your lost items. As you land in the hospital after the balloon crash - you can find your lost items safe and sound sitting in the cupboard next to your hospital bed. //Anyway, we're just one week in. I'm staying vigilant and checking discussions daily in search of possible bugs to fix. Don't hesitate to post any issues you have while playing. Even if you have some QOL suggestions, I'm listening.Read full article on Community Announcements (the Architect)Patch NotesOfficial
