About this game
Addictive Idle Gameplay
AI Tycoon is a satirical idle clicker. Click agent.exe to deploy an AI agent. Spend Compute Credits on upgrades to deploy faster. The more you deploy, the faster you'll deploy more.
The Premise
OpenMind's CEO Chad Chadderson has a vision: free humanity from the burden of work. Their AI agents can do every human job — coding, writing, analyzing, scheming — at a fraction of the cost of an actual person. And he's hired you to help roll them out across the global economy. The future is bright. This will surely not blow up in our faces.
Minigames!
In most idle games you buy "buildings" to scale production. In AI Tycoon, you recruit Dark Web Contacts who deploy agents alongside you. Each one has problems — a high schooler hiding his ChatGPT prompts, a Cursor power user who still can't write FizzBuzz, a romance-scam operation, the /r/singularity mob, and worse. Fix their problems, unlock hidden upgrades, and grow your operation toward the singularity.

Well, folks, the Unity install fee fiasco is now a distant memory. It's almost certainly already the case that 99.99% of people who see this steam page will have no idea what on earth we were even talking about. However this game, we think, is still fun! So we took the time to re-write and re-brand. But how to do it? What fits? Well, AI mania, of course! It's a perfect fit. Install-Fee Tycoon has now be transformed into AI Tycoon - to have a fun, loving poke at the current ongoing unpredictable insanity that is the expansion of AI in our economy.
