Drift.Wav is a casual drifting game with a synthwave inspired aesthetic. This game is not meant to replicate / simulate actual drift mechanics, but more serve as a fun & relaxing game where you can slide in a synthwave inspired world. See if you can drift your way to the top of the leaderboard!

Drift to earn score which will get you money so that you can expand your collection of unique owned vehicles to drift around with each one having it's own feel in single-player game-modes or with friends on a free-roam map!

  • Work your way to the top of our several leader-boards to show everyone your drifting skills.

  • Drift around with a custom playlist in our endless or highway mode with chaotic traffic.

  • Swap your sky-box while drifting to instantly change up the vibe.

  • Apply a VHS or Pixel effect to get a nice retro feel!

Special Controls

  • Super Jump: Hold 'L SHIFT' to activate slo-motion then hold 'SPACE' or 'F' to super jump ;)

  • Flip Mid-Air: While high up in the air. Hold S to bring speed below 50 then hold 'E' to start flipping

Custom Playlists

In addition, there is a custom playlist feature that allows you to drift to any playlist you want while watching the visual wave-forms of the song move around you!

This feature works with .WAV only.

    Drift.Wav Major Update 1.9.5

    What's New?Welcome to Drift.Wav 1.9.5. This update is meant to get this project a tad more modernized while still keeping it classic DW. As my main focus is centered towards developing DW II. I wanted to make sure to get this project updated considering development for DW II is taking longer than expected due to scope and wanting to make sure it's 100% polished and ready to go on release.This update is still in progress and will get several more patches over the next coming weeks.So any feedback feel free to leave on steam forums, this post or our discord!That being said these are some of the new things that have been changed / added to the current DW! Please note that this was an entire re-write of this project in about 2 weeks & there still might be some issues. Any bugs or problems can be fixed & patched. Just join the discord or leave a message on the steam forums and I will get to it as fast as I can.New PhysicsCar's now have a center of mass system and updated physics creating body roll when moving and slightly improving the look and feel of when cars are moving.Updated Air Control physics ( still in progress ).
