About this game

Our deep-level mining operations have gone dark. Deep Rock Galactic needs them back online at any cost. We’re sending in a crack squad of Reclaimers to breach and secure the mines, and kill whatever’s down there.

Your survival is not necessary for the success of this mission.

Step into the boots of the Reclaimers, Deep Rock Galactic’s elite corporate security force. In fast-paced 1-4 player co-op gameplay, you’ll fight through alien-infested mines as five playable classes:

  • GUARDIAN: The walking shield. An expert in area denial and close protection. Damages enemies with concussive blasts, and restores the team’s armor.

  • FALCONER: The aerial attacker. Deploys an airborne assault drone to electrify enemies. In an emergency, can even revive teammates from afar.

  • RETCON: The hologram berserker. Can warp back to a previous point in spacetime, restoring health and ammo to recover from dangerous situations. Lethal in all time zones.

  • SPOTTER: The marksman. Highlights and weakens targets with toxin darts, spots enemies through walls, and can deploy ammo crates for use in extended firefights.

  • SLICER: The melee expert. Carries an energy blade capable of dismembering all but the toughest opponents. Mobile, agile, aggressive.

No two runs are the same. The roguelike format means you’ll scavenge your weapons and equipment from within the mines, and collect resources to upgrade your gear and abilities. Choose from a deep pool of upgrades for your weapons and abilities, discovering lethal synergies and snowballing in power as you fight your way down to the Rift Gate.

Linger too long, and the Reaperworms will hear you. Explore each level of the mine for upgrades, equipment and resources — but remember that each stop costs precious time. Stick with your team, move quickly, and push forward at all costs.

Nobody said this would be easy. But death is only a setback. Dive, dig, die, and dive again.

Procedurally-generated caves mean every single mission gives a unique challenge of traversal and exploration. Featuring 100% destructible terrain, you can dig, carve and explode the caves around you to level the playing field. Fight your way deeper through natural caverns and enormous industrial structures.

These mines are infested with Corespawn: the most aggressive, resilient and intelligent alien life we’ve ever encountered on Hoxxes IV. 20+ different enemy types and 3 different bosses are lying in wait. Use whatever means necessary to eliminate them.

Between missions, you’ll find yourself aboard the RV-09 Ramrod. Here, you and your squad can access rich metaprogression and extensive character customization to bring into your next deployment. Lift weights, braid your beard, hit the dance floor, and have a beer with your team.

Think you’ve got what it takes to brave the depths? Wishlist Rogue Core and contact a local Reclaimers recruiting station today.

THE RESOLUTE. THE RELENTLESS. THE RECLAIMERS.

    PATCH NOTES - RC:EA:02:01:00

PATCH NOTES - RC : EA : 02 : 01 : 00 (Build: 153019 - 10.09.26) Hello Reclaimers, Got a second hotfix/small patch for you with some bug fixes and tweaks. Most of us are already working on Update 3, but we wanted to get a few things sorted as quickly as possible. With love, - The Ghost Ship crew --- PATCH NOTES --- ㅤ \Made the Expenite drop amount in the "Enemies Drop Expenite" Alteration more consistent across Threat Levels and team size. Previously, solo runs on lower difficulties would result in hardly any Expenite gains because there were too few enemies. Higher-difficulty runs with a full squad should not notice much difference after this tweak.Adjusted XP earned from expenite so that it does not become the main source of class XP and to prevent alterations that increase expenite from unintentionally increasing mission XP beyond the alteration's bonusEnabled queuing of enemy spawns when trying to spawn more than the game supports. Enemies over the limit are no longer dropped; they spawn when there is room for them/the players kill enemies.Added filtering for Threat Level to the Server List \Fixed clients double-dipping on x2 magazine upgradeAlso fixed the x2 magazine upgrade not always workingFixed enemies not retargeting when their target player is downed (no more Dominators camping a downed dwarf)Fixed waves lasting forever if leaving behind enemies (not killing them)Fix to prevent players from losing gear if they disconnect during the ready-up screen

    UPDATE 2 PREVIEW

Hello Reclaimers, Update 2 is just around the corner — it’ll go live in Rogue Core on Wednesday, September 2nd at 13:00 CEST. Here’s your first look at what’s coming. We’ll post the full patch notes when the update goes live next week. This preview will focus more closely at the biggest changes and additions, and our thoughts behind them. Bug fixes, balance tweaks, QoL improvements and smaller stuff like that will go in those patch notes. If you’d like to get your hands on all of this before next week’s release, it's now live in the Experimental Branch! Instructions on how to activate that are at the bottom of this post. NEW DIFFICULTY SYSTEM: THREAT LEVELSAs part of making it easier to tailor the Rogue Core experience to your own tastes, we’re implementing a new difficulty system. With Update 1, we introduced the ‘Assault Pace’ setting to allow more options for adjusting the mission timer. Now, we’re introducing the ‘Threat Level’ difficulty scale. This will uncouple the game difficulty from the chosen Depth. It also means game difficulty is now totally independent from the mission timer, giving you more fine-tuned control over your own game experience. In Update 2, you’ll see the screen above upon selecting a mission. This big screen will just show up once, and after that the Threat Level will join the Assault Pace toggle over on the right side of the screen. Here’s how the new setup works:Threat Level: The five Threat Levels affect the number of enemies, the frequency of swarms, enemy health and movement, enemy aggression (attack frequency and projectile speed) and overall damage.Assault Pace: This adjusts the pacing of your run, by adding more or less time to the mission timer. Tone it down if you like taking your time, ramp it up if you work best on a deadline.Depth: With these changes, Depth now only determines access to certain bosses (and the associated boss biome). We’re making it more of a progression system for game content, rather than necessarily being ...
