~ A quirky fantasy tale about the cannon fodder folk ~
"Welcome to the Hive, fresh meat. All recruiting worker goblins must be this tall to die for the Goblin Leader’s filthy army. You’ll be distributed the standard issue loincloth and assigned to your first toiling duty. I’d learn to craft some better equipment asap, if I were you."
~ Take everything your sticky mitts can get a hold of ~
"Your number one task, as a goblin worker, is to make our new Hive thrive like the glory days. Everything you find, grab it. Humans have left a ton of useful crap just lying around. Smash, rip, and loot. Don’t stop there — we need all kinds of materials for the Hive too. Mine, chop, and gather. And don’t forget the organs of your fallen enemies… they make fine cuisine."
~ Fortify your Hive and grow stronger alongside it ~
"Sharing your loot is... optional — though it does help achieve our common goals. All valuables and little shiny things will be contributed to the Goblin Leader, right? Contribute for the good of the Hive, and we’ll make sure the Quartermaster provides everything you might need. Nice new facilities and goods will make the daily grind just a bit more tolerable."
~ Raise from the dingy thickets ~
"Pioneer these new and uncharted lands with great caution. Even if we’re not yet at the bottom of the food chain, we’re getting pretty close. And from what I’ve seen, our neighbors are getting uglier by the minute.
Which reminds me of your secondary objective. Try not to die for Skiggarath’s sake. Our mortuary expenses have reached their all-time high. The Goblin Leader is running low on workers as it is. All that highly lethal backbreaking toiling won’t just happen on its own."
~ Play solo or with up to 4 goblin friends online ~
"To make your work more jolly, I would suggest you gather a crew of more or less trusted cronies. They might be worthless dirtbags like you, but there is still strength in numbers as they say. However, their main task will be to retrieve your stuff for the next guy from your very likely dead body.
NOW GET TO WORK!"

EA Demo Patch v0.6.7
\This patch comes with full rework on the Mutation System, which should bring some variety to playthroughs. Also small QoL improvements. Main things:Mutation System full rework = Mutations are now completely different and the effects are more active rather than just simple stat bonuses. Some even provide additional abilities you manually have to use.Toxic Waste Barrells = Are also now semi-randomized, so the order will vary. AND they no longer unlock mutagens, but instead Perks to be attached to mutagens.Amethyst are no longer currency, but items = They are used to equip mutagens. Amethyst nodes will now refresh due time but it takes longer than other nodes.Enemy Debuffs Displayed = Enemies' debuff durations are now displayed in target frame (+ under Boss Health Bar). This way you can keep track of active status effects. Bug fixes / Other:Smaller level polish (annoying edges, floating elements, additional deco). What's next?Making multiplayer more accessible for everyone by making it possible to host public games.Unfortunately the controller / steam deck support are delayed until we get the first tasks ready. Sorry for that. We know some players have been waiting for this :Read full article on Community Announcements (paroni)Patch NotesOfficial

Patch Notes v0.6.5
Heyoo! This one is short and not that impactful gameplay-wise, but very important from the dev side. We've added a lightweight analytics to get a better feel for how players experience Goblins Die. Like which milestones people hit, where runs tend to end, and which areas could use some attention from us. Nothing personal here! No accounts, no individual tracking, just anonymized data across all players. If we see a bunch of goblins getting wrecked at the same boss, or players bailing around the same area, that's a signal for us to dig in and fix it. Basically: less guessing, more fixing the stuff that actually needs it. If you have any concerns, questions or anything we are happy to answer! Bug fixes:Invite Player button not showing for Host Have a fun weekend, goblins!Read full article on Community Announcements (paroni)
