About this game
An unfamiliar and mysterious world. Drowned Lake takes inspiration from Brazilian folklore, exploring themes of religious syncretism and social discontent, all wrapped in a chilling documentary found footage horror experience.
Follow Carolina the reporter, Rafael the first responder, or Leopoldo the old fisherman. What begins as a rescue mission quickly spirals into a series of bizarre and disturbing events. As the lake’s dark past comes to light, so do the secrets buried deep within the strangers, forcing them to confront both their inner demons and the sinister presence haunting the lake.

Although the prototype was just a slice of the lake featuring a choice-and-consequence fishing mechanic, we were overwhelmed with positive comments from you all! And then, little by little, our experiment started to grow and expand. It’s no secret that Drowned Lake is tightly connected to our previous game, TELEFORUM, and could perhaps even be considered a spin-off of sorts.
