Control a lost soul in Drift Scavenger, an action RPG where you weaponize your momentum against demonic foes. Navigate through ever-changing environments, making critical decisions on what gear to carry with you.

About this game

Drift Scavenger is a difficult game where death results in losing all your items, however if you find an exit and survive a run through the Drift you will get to add to your horde of items back at your Refuge.

The main goal in Drift Scavenger is to...

Defeat The Greater Demons and the devil

The only escape for a soul stuck in the Drift is to defeat the greater demons and the devil.

Greater demons roam the realms of Greed Hatred and Delusion. Defeating the greater demons will unlock new powers, transform the map for that run, and allow you to challenge the devil. These fights won't be easy so make sure you bring the right equipment to challenge each one.

Hoard Relics & Weapons

Collecting relics, and weapons in your stash will give you access to new synergistic strategies and plans for your next run.

Momentum Shooter Combat

While moving at max speed you reflect bullets and can slam into enemies. Blow back from your weapons can be used to increase your speed, Hook shots can be fired to quickly ram enemies, Various special effects are triggered by drifting depending on what Relics you choose to equip

Explore a large labyrinthine procedurally generated map

Each run you enter a new map at a new spawn location and must get to a new exit location to escape. There are special areas and exits to unlock. The map generates altars that will allow you to heal, exchange health for loot, get temporary special powers and much more.

Encounter Mysterious Characters

Completing bets, and requests with the various characters you come across will improve your chances by allowing you to purchase new items, expand your storage space and unlock new ways to interact with the procedural maps.

Rogue Like Extraction

When you die in Drift Scavenger you lose everything you bring in and everything you have collected during the current run, Except for a special limited space inventory that allows you to keep a couple items.

In order to beat the game you must defeat all bosses in one run. The more time you spend in a singular run the harder it gets as the hatred in the underworld grows so you need to make sure you bring the right items in and use them at the right times for one final perfect run.

    Skull Scavenger Hit 1000 Wishlists!

We have been hard at work since we released our first prototype of Skull Scavenger on Itch.IO. In that time our steam page has been gathering wishlist's from you fine folks and we've made it to... 1000! This Isn't a massive number in the grand scheme of things, but considering we haven't done any marketing push yet we are really happy and humbled that people are interested in the game! To celebrate we wanted to share a few things with you that we have changed or added since the prototype version. Open world format {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44639720/2558b32d36de075676cd3d213ce6e3c5ef50ae0a.jpg The game now takes place in a hub world and an open world that contains 3 massive procedurally generated zones. We are excited about this because it means players will have access to everything interesting about the game and world right away instead of dividing it up into smaller discrete levels that need to be unlocked. It will provide much more dynamic unpredictable runs from the get go. Big Complex Roaming Bosses {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44639720/a103f4fa9749974a033dd810b9fa76e83c5eab4c.jpg We finished the boss of an area we are calling delusion. Mordred The many is a giant centipede created by the inhabitants of delusion through grafting other creatures together in an attempt to create something that is all seeing and all knowing. Of course this has gone horribly wrong and Mordred now rages around delusion destroying walls and generally ransacking the place. Synergistic Items {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44639720/8f386a75263cc7335a97b6afd958724233bc5255.jpg Instead of simple stat bonuses we've opted for more complex items that really change up the game play. Remnants from your past life called Relics can hold a nostalgic power in this realm. Hording relics will allow you to combine their powers before each new run to create unique effects and help you defeat whatever boss you are currently pursuing. More lively Characters {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44639720/9e5a50d9e6fef398b932b80cbb4b05bd6094cc67.jpg We...
