Embark on quests to buy, sell, and protect valuable items as you navigate Tradesman's Dealer's treacherous markets.

About this game

TRADESMAN: Deal to Dealer is a game about a merchant who rides around in his horse-drawn (or bear-drawn) cart. Starting his journey in his home village of Grampstead, the Tradesman heads off to the other towns and villages of the world. Stock up on marine morsels in Fishpool, quench your thirst at Grubgrog Village's renowned tavern, sell basic necessities in Hoboken, and trample the dirt in Normingham, the capital of these lands!

Features

  • Trade: buy up stock in one place and sell it out wherever your goods are needed most to earn money and gain trading experience.

  • Automatic battles with active skills: the roads are perilous, and the more goods you have in your cart, the more dangerous they become.

  • Your wares aren't just a basket with a price tag - each product has a range of traits that complicate transportation.

  • Many unique types of mercenaries, each of which you can take a shine to, but not enough to think twice about swapping them out for a better mercenary.

  • Consumables: study the culinary arts to cook meals and feed your mercenaries. Use power-up scrolls and books to lecture your mercenaries.

  • Buildable talents: talents for combat, trade, social interactions, and survival.

  • Transport quests: work as a taxi driver and drop off drunks, children, and wounded guards.

  • Classic quests: head to marked points on the map and fulfill various characters' requests.

  • Soulslike quests: go god-knows-where and do god-knows-what.

  • Plot quests: plot quests!

    Small patch

Yo, gamers!A small patch where we fixed various inaccuracies and bugs. There are too many to list, and most of them are minor things that you may not even notice. For example, we fixed the sheep tank (heh), removed the green “!” marks from the inventory when no delivery quests are available, and so on.The main addition is a scrolling ticker with tips that occasionally appears when the trader visits a town. The same tips can also be read in the main menu. And if you don't want the tips to appear in the scrolling ticker, you can disable them in the settings.Oh, and one more thing! We changed the short description on the game's store page. Our game is now officially HARD.

    FIX

Fixed a mistake with included save file inside the game - if you are a new player, you will see, what I am talking about. Now you just can clear the saves and play the game from the beginning. My bad.

    Small patch

Hello! This is a small patch, and I hope there aren't any bugs in its content :)We've added a Collections menu. The Collection allows you to move useful items from your quest inventory into a separate menu, where you can enable and disable these items. When an item is added to the Collection, it is removed from your inventory, so it no longer takes up space. There are 28 useful permanent items in total, and you can have up to 20 of them enabled at the same time (It's as if you filled your inventory with these items and nothing else). This is what it looks like, and the menu is accessible by clicking on the cart in a safe location.

    Version 1.0 is out!

Hello! It’s only taken a few years, but here it is: the game is finally leaving Early Access and going straight into the full release!TRADESMAN: Deal to Dealer is a PC video game where you trade, fight, travel, fight, buy and sell, fight some more, complete quests, and fight again. And then you repeat the whole thing. Here is the most important rule of this game:The more goods you carry, the stronger the enemies become and the harder the game gets. 90% of the time, it’s the player who decides how difficult the game becomes. We’ve been working toward this day for a long time, improving the game, replacing some unsuccessful mechanics with better ones, adding content that wasn’t even planned at first but that players wanted to have, and doing all sorts of things like that. So, let’s talk a little about some numbers that new players might not know about:There are many different goods in this game (more than 40) to buy and sell, and every type of goods not only increases the danger level of your enemies, but also gives them various buffs. Some goods can be useful to the trader as well. And this doesn’t even include the various reward items and usable items, of which there are more than 100.There are many different enemies and mercenaries in this game (more than 150), most of whom can be hired by the player - from ordinary peasants to unusual peasants (okay, and legendary peasants and bears, for example). There are a lot of quests in this game (probably more than 100), both story and side quests, as well as repeatable quests. There are more than 50 locations in this game that you can - and will have to - visit again and again to make money. There are various progression paths in this game, and, in general, a whole lot of different upgrades, even outside those progression paths. There are three genuinely big bosses in this game, even though the main character isn’t trying to save the world - he just wants to get richer. If you put some thought into it, there’s actually not as much...

    Pre-release patch

Haya, ladies and gentleladies. This ninja patch, which isn't yet a release patch, actually contains:The full game (with a boss, the new Youngfield location, and new interactions in that location).Achievements (some of them can be obtained in the current version; you don't need to replay the game, but many will need to be completed, because there's no in-game data about them). And we've added another Donkey DLC (no in-game advantages, just developer support DLC).The actual full release celebration patch notes will be out on August 27th, when the game leaves Early Access.
