About this game

The forces of hell are here!

Why? Dunno.

How? I don't think it matters.

All that matters is that you gotta fight them, right now!

In this game, you play as one of 6 heroes fighting off increasingly large hordes of enemies! Every agent has weapons and abilities unique to them, and you have to use them to them to their fullest abilities to get as high of a score as possible! The faster you kill enemies, the higher your score multiplier gets! But don't let off the pressure, because if you do, you'll get swarmed and overwhelmed by the forces of hell!

  • An addictive gameplay loop! You'll always want just one more go!
  • A pixel perfect artstyle! Lovingly crafted for your viewing pleasure!
  • Truly distinct characters! You won't ever get bored with these guys!
  • Play how you want! Supports both keyboard and mouse, and gamepads!

So, are you up to the task?

    Bug fix

Game would go into the "nostalgia" color scheme by default instead of the original one. Should now work properly. NOTE: If you want to play the game in the original BW color scheme, you can simply go into extras > palette, and select the first color scheme. On that note, you aren't forced to do so, so if you enjoy gameboy pea green, you can keep the current color scheme!

    Content Update!

LOW CONTRAST MODEI've noticed a lot of people having visual issues with the high contrast that the game normally has. Low contrast mode reduces contrast across the board, allowing for a less eye-straining experience for those who were having issues with it.Motion Blur Long story short, I was messing around with some settings, and I realized that I could do some interesting stuff in the post-processing stack. It looked really cool, so I added it onto this update. It's entirely optional, and if you already have a save file, you need to turn it on manually.Oni Special ReworkI thought it'd be a good idea to rework Oni's special, to make it more snappy and impactful. Now, instead of rising into the air and slowly dropping down, Oni CRASHES onto the target, still making that massive explosion! I'll be busy for a while, but hopefully I'll have some exciting stuff to show you guys on my return! Happy New Year!

    Balance patch (Dec. 23 2025)

You guys have been incredible! Thank you for giving Undercroft Warriors a chance, and I'm glad that you're all enjoying it!On that note, I'll be doing a few character adjustments across the next few days, namely for Alexandra and Dr. Ling. The first part of the patch will focus on Alexandra. It's a simple and straightforward one: When Alexandra reaches critical health (the point where the health bar turns red), she will no longer have any invincibility when using the attack. Additionally, her self-heal's cooldown (refresh) has been adjusted to not be as spammable by increasing it's cooldown significantly. The point of this changes is to make it so that you maintain risk when using her second attack while not completely gutting her.Second part of the patch is for Dr. Ling.Dr. Ling's arsenal has been buffed - The rifle, grenade launcher, shotgun and bazooka have all been buffed to have more ammunition. The Rifle also had it's power improved.Additionally, Dr. Ling gains an additional satellite from drones - 2 on normal, 3 on a jackpot.

    UI hotfix

The game had some UI bugs I hadn't noticed (seemingly caused by engine changes), but they have since been fixed. You should now be able to see your satellite cooldowns (right side of the screen) more easily and modify your controls without interference.
