About this game
Roadmap

About the Game
The entire world has fallen and the surface has been overrun by a hostile and aggressively-evolving horde of mutants. Well, not entirely. A motley group of persevering preppers are seizing their moment of glory and holding out against the abominable threat lurking right outside the perimeter of their makeshift establishment.
Guntouchables is a 1-4 player co-op roguelike doomsday shooter where every second counts. Impeccable teamwork and wise decision-making will be key to beat the overwhelming odds when facing the ever-changing enemies of the wasteland.
No one could have foreseen the end of times, but anyone could have prepared for it.
You must choose your character and play your part as one of the Guntouchables - a ragtag group of irrepressible survivors who’s been spending years preparing for the direst scenarios imaginable. Now they are facing the disaster of their dreams!
Fortune Favors the Bold!
Complete mission objectives and collect UpCrates for Cash and Perks that will increase your chances of survival in the wasteland as difficulty gradually escalates. Every second counts, and every reward is associated with a risk. Success must be found in the delicate sweet spot between boldness and greed.
Evolving Enemies
Between each mission, players must vote between a random selection of mutations that will grant enemies new traits and abilities. Fortunately, this choice will also offer the players immediate or long-term benefits, making the decision less obvious but more critical.
Hoard Upgrades
Player upgrades are at the heart of the Guntouchables and crucial to help you keep up with the scaling difficulty. Combine common and class-specific perks and abilities to form powerful and creative builds.
Mod Your Guns
You won't make it long in the apocalypse without the right set of tools. Guntouchables feature a sizable and widely expandable arsenal of high-powered guns. Choose a loadout that fits your style and then mod it with upgrades to your personal preference. A clever combination of perks and gun mods will turn you into an unstoppable mutant killing machine in no time.
Open Development
Launch will just be the beginning. Guntouchables is designed to be a heavy and easily expandable experience, and any content additions will increase the possible outcomes and combinations exponentially.
We want to invite anyone who is interested, to join our community on Discord or follow the game's development on our other channels.
We are striving to be as open, fair and transparent as possible about the game's development and launch. We believe this attitude will bring us closer and more in tune with the players, and allow us to make better decisions, and a much more engaging experience, but we ultimately depend on the support from you.

Update 1.3.0 - Trinkets and Turmoil
Hello Preppers!Update 1.3.0 is here - and this one’s a big one! We’ve overhauled the multiplayer flow, improved difficulty scaling, and added a pile of new toys to push your runs further than ever. Whether you play solo, duo, trio, or full squad, things should now feel smoother, fairer, and a whole lot wilder.Let’s start with the biggest addition:TrinketsThis update introduces 16 brand-new Trinkets to Guntouchables.Trinkets are powerful pickups found during a run that significantly alter and enhance your playstyle. Expect things like:Elemental synergiesBouncing bulletsBile immunityAnd more build-defining effectsBut there’s a catch… You can only equip one Trinket at a time.Switching means committing - so think twice before trading it out mid-run.On top of that, Trinkets have their own progression system that carries between runs. The more you use a Trinket, the stronger it becomes. Over time, your favorites will truly start to shine. We hope you’ll enjoy experimenting with them as much as we have.Multiplayer, bots and joiningWe’ve made significant improvements to multiplayer flexibility.Bots are now optional and disabled by defaultYou can start an expedition solo in multiplayer and wait for others to joinBots can be added and removed during a runHosts can toggle private/public during a runMost importantly:You can now join a running game all the way up to the final mission before the boss fight. No more waiting around in the first level for friends. Jump in and get to work.Balancing (2-3 Player Games)We’ve taken a close look at balance for 2–3 player runs.Previously, these squad sizes could hit some serious difficulty spikes compared to 4-player games. We’ve adjusted scaling and enemy tuning so the experience should now feel much closer in line, without losing the chaos.Dynamic difficulty scalingSince players can now join and leave all the way up to the boss level, difficulty scaling has been improved to adapt on the fly to the current number of players in the game.Heat ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Slumdog)AnnouncementsOfficial
New build (1.2.2) previewing on Experimental Branch
Hello Preppers! We just put out a fresh new build (v 1.2.2) out on the Experimental branch. We hope some of you will help us preview it before we roll it out in full. Here are the cool new things to look out for: Trinkets; This new update brings 15 brand-new Trinkets into Guntouchables. Trinkets are pickups you can find during your run that will vastly improve your play in various different ways. It includes elemental synergies, bouncing bullets and bile immunity. BUT... you can only have one at a time, so be sure to think twice before switching it out. Furthermore the Trinkets have their own progression that carries from each run. So the more you play with a trinket the more powerful it will be come. We hope you will come to enjoy them as much as we do.Multiplayer bots and joining; This update also comes with significant changes to joining, bots and the multiplayer experience in general. Bots are now optional (and disabled by default) - allowing you to start a multiplayer expedition with just one player, and wait for other players to join. In addition to this, we have expanded the late-join functionality, so you can now join a running game all the way up to the boss level, so no need to wait around for players in the first level.Balancing; We’ve taken a good look at the balance for games with 2-3 players. Typically, players in these games would encounter some massive difficulty spikes around certain specific situations compared to games with 4 players. Hopefully, the experience is now closer in line with a 4-player game now in terms of difficulty.Dynamic difficulty scaling; With players now being able to leave and join games all the way to the boss level, we have made the difficulty more adaptable as it now scales on the fly with the current number of players in the game.🧪 What is the Experimental Branch?Think of it as a parallel universe where a different version of Guntouchables lives. Experimental Branch! - Drone Improvements Test is Now Live.
Hello Preppers! It’s time for a new experiment! For this round of testing on the Experimental Branch, we’re turning our attention to the single-player experience. More specifically, your faithful companion, Rusty. ⚙️🤖Rusty has always been by your side, but in this experiment we want to explore what happens if you can upgrade him to become a real contributor on your expedition runs. We’re testing a set of upgrades designed to make solo play more dynamic, more flexible, and a lot more fun. Here’s what we’re testing:Rusty Upgrades! You can now boost Rusty's damage, add elemental effects, or even upgrade him with a shotgun.Rusty Ammo Drop Once per mission, Rusty will now drop a pack of ammo if you run out. This should minimize those painful situations where you might run out of ammo before getting a chance to obtain any ammo consumables.Changes to Rusty Reviving If you’re unfortunate enough to go down during an expedition, Rusty can still get you back on your feet but now only once per mission. When revived, you’ll return with 50% permanent health and 50% temporary health, giving you a second chance without completely erasing the consequences of going down. This change is aimed at striking a better balance between having a safety net and maintaining meaningful tension throughout a run. With the previous system of multiple persistent revives, we saw situations where players could reach the final encounter with several lives intact, which often made those climactic moments feel less exciting than intended. We’re hoping this adjustment keeps runs tense, rewarding, and satisfying from start to finish. Our goal is to improve the feel of single-player runs without drastically changing the balance of co-op. As always, we need your feedback to understand how this plays, feels, and scales across missions. If you’re up for testing, keep reading 👇🧪 What is the Experimental Branch?Think of it as a parallel universe where a different version of Guntouchables lives.
