About the Game

5050 is a simple game of chance. Are you feeling lucky? Insert some points and press the button. They’ll either get doubled or turn to nothing. Your objective is simply to accumulate as many points as possible.

It’s up to you how cautious you want to play, but it’s high risk reward. Points in your account are safe, but what fun is safety without progress? With only 2 controls, you must play this game on instinct alone.

The game is won once you reach 1 million points, and your progress towards this is shown at the bottom of the screen. You can of course keep playing even after surpassing this goal.

Controls:

The game was designed with a mouse in mind, but you can also play with the keyboard too:

Space = Press the button
Arrow keys = Change deposit amount

    v1.0.4 - Sticker update

    I noticed that the stickers in 5050 looked a bit... generative… Most of them seemed ok, but there were a few details that caught my eye particularly, like the unusual shaping on the camera, or the strange "pocket" on the plant pot. But the more I looked, the more they all started to look a bit suspicious. So to be on the safe side, I reached out to one of the main artists from my “I commissioned some” series to redo them. I was going to ask them to make entirely new ones, but that’s not ideal for people that have already spent time grinding for them, so instead I opted for reimagining them. And I think they’ve done a wonderful job. I’ve now replaced the suspicious sticker assets with these proper ones:Where were they from? They were originally assets that I had commissioned for a new style of hidden object game I was making. The idea was that the screen would get completely plastered with stickers, but you had to look for a specific one. So I commissioned a few hundred of them, but the project got abandoned. I needed some stickers for 5050, so I figured I’d reuse a few of them. EDIT: Idk why, but the steam moderators have moved this announcement to 'cross promotion'.

    V1.0.1 - Added questionnaire and changed beekeeper criteria

    There's now an option to take a survey about the game from the pause menu, if you're feeling generous! I've also changed the "Beekeeper" achievement. You no longer need to complete the minigame if you don't want to, you just have to open it. The purpose of making it an achievement is to make sure that no one misses it, not to force you to play. CHANGELOG ADDED - Survey button on pause menu CHANGED - Beekeeper achievement no longer requires you to complete the bee minigame, just open it.
