About this game
A prince, an escaped prisoner, a usurper, a brute, a fighter. Karder Dal-Arouya is many things but has one goal in life: to conquer the empire stolen from him by his treacherous queen mother.
Guide Karder on his adventures to reclaim his throne. On his quests you will meet friends and foes, powerful beasts and sexy rulers. Dominate your defeated foes and decide whether you want to use them for your dark pleasures or seduce them to aid you with their skills and knowledge.
Each new release will include a new fiefdom to conquer, new ruler to defeat and abuse (or seduce and recruit) and a miniquest offering unique combats, unforgettable sexual encounters and fun puzzles.
Vae victis - khan offers the following features:
Alluring rulers to defeat and decide their fate: whether to abuse them in your dungeons or to recruit them to your council and eventually seduce them
Quick and unique Rock, Scissors, Paper based one on one combat with some interesting twists such as aggressive or defensive attacks, subdue attacks for taking your (sexy) opponents unharmed and more.
Fiefdom management aspect: increase your Troops and Gold reserves so you can wage wars on new fiefdoms but monitor your fiefdoms Morale and Obedience lest you lose them to rebellions.
Miniquests for sabotaging enemy fiefdoms, obtaining powerful magical artifacts and more. Some characters you'll meet in those quests can be revisited later, allowing you to see how meeting you altered the course of their lives.
Strong impregnation theme, most sexual encounters will elaborate on Karder's desire to dominate and breed his defeated opponents.
As the game progresses, we release additional fiefdoms (and wenches) to conquer, elaborate on the back story and introduce additional features such as enhanced army combat and more.
Vae victis - Khan is a very NSFW game. Its protagonist is a complete bastard who doesn't hesitate to abuse and exploit other people but you will (almost) always have the option to choose a mild (yet highly erotic) path as well. There is no gore or blood during the sexual scenes of the game but other than that Karder can be a total sadist.

The deployment of the Chinese version of Vae Victis - Khan introduced some bugs which were related to using a different set of than English characters. The last bug was the most complicated to identify and fix: some users who used Chinese letters in their user computers’ user name were unable to save the game. This update fixes this problem by preventing the game from saving in a path which contains the user name, and I hope this will be the last bug in this version. Another minor bug which was fixed along the way is a minor bug with two images of Queen Nahir which were displayed in a problematic way. Overall, the introduction of the Simplified Chinese translation option went smoothly but unfortunately some bugs did manage to slip through, causing frustration to some of you. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. What’s in this update? Traditional ChineseFine tuning the Absolute Bastard and Life Giver achievementsFixes to various bugs which were throwing exceptions and error messages One problem is not solved yet. For players with non-English user names in their machines, Renpy (the platform the game runs on) suffers communication issues when the path has non-English characters and can't read or write to a persistent file where saves, Settings and game status is kept. Hence, every time the game is launched, it starts a new game. The fix is to force Renpy to keep the Persistency file in a path not related to the user name. Version 0.18 is here!
What’s new in version 0.18?Overhaul of Dian’s Seduction scenes: animations, dialogs and SFX. Due to the sheer amount of animations and the fact that they portray three people per scene (Dian, Antiop and Karder), I decided to focus on the Seduction path only for this version and have the next version focus on the Dominance path.
