About this game
Welcome back!
The game nobody expected is getting a sequel no one's ready for - bigger and more chaotic than the last.
If you have not played the first game - feel free to start here. Lingo 2 has a totally new rule structure, so you can play them in either order.
If you did play the first game and only enjoyed solving the word puzzles - you might want to let a friend try this first. There's always Scrabble!
Featuring...
New Puzzle Mechanics - A complete overhaul to the system you had finally figured out. Beginner friendly!
Wandering - A large, winding, interconnected world to get lost in.
Music - Soundtrack by Icely!
Jumping - You can jump! Who doesn't love to jump?
Minimal Linearity - An open world that unfolds as you explore it.
Ominous Questions - Nothing scary; just making sure you remembered to switch the laundry.
Cubes - I didn't count or anything, but there are a few more cubes this time.

Minor Performance Update
Small performance update targeting issues seen on some systems. Eliminate redundant save triggers on loading a map. Should reduce crashing. Filter special characters from user names. Should prevent folks preventing themselves from being able to save. Tweaked which music tracks play in a couple of maps. Credits now automatically scroll.Read full article on Community Announcements (Cyathus)Patch NotesOfficial
Update Notes for March 14, 2025
First and foremost, thanks to all of you for a wonderful release day yesterday! The response has been amazing and I'm so glad folks are enjoying the game. You have blown us away! I have a couple quick updates out for the first 24 hours, mostly relating to better serving weaker or older machines: Patched a bug where stuff wasn't saving for users who have special characters in their Steam names. Bigger fix with character validation coming later; for now if you create a username stick to alphanumeric characters. Fixed a bug where using the arrow keys in solve mode super duper early in the game caused an endless while loop and crash. Coding rites of passage bingo card, check. For weaker machines, you now have the option to try playing without the graphical bells and whistles, using "Lowest Quality" mode from Settings - Graphics. For the Vulkan error (crashing caused by older/integrated graphics cards) you can try putting "--rendering-driver opengl3" in the Steam launch options (without quotes). This has largely solved things for at least a few users in the Discord. Thank you to Plurmorant for this suggestion. Added a resolution scale to settings. This can be used to reduce the impact on your machine by up to 75%, at a significant cost to visual quality.Read full article on Community Announcements (Cyathus)
