About this game
Please, everyone - try out the demo before buying Gravity Force.
Hi everyone,
The team at Coffeeshock Studios would like to thank you for your interest in our release.
We are fans of hard and demanding video games. We grew up playing them and now we’re making our titles in the same way. However, we fully understand that these games are not for everyone. That is why we’d love it if you tried our demo first and then decided whether or not you’d like to purchase the game.
As much as we want Gravity Force to sell well on Steam, we also want more to avoid leaving anyone disappointed. We think that this scenario would be a loss for everyone. Giving our demo a try resolves that issue before it even arises. If you’re not a fan of technically demanding flying games, you should also try out the demo first.
We’re incredibly grateful to anyone who considers purchasing Gravity Force. By trying out our demo, you can make sure you’re buying the thing you’ll enjoy.
We hope you like playing Gravity Force and thank you!
About the Game
Gravity Force puts you into the seat of a drone pilot. Steer your spaceship through narrow caves (2.5D) to fulfill your job: locate and retrieve cargo crates without wrecking the ship.Parts of the gameplay are closely related to vintage classics like Asteroids, Thrust or - you guessed it - Gravity Force, but with way more realistic physics.
The minimalistic controls and realistic physics are easy to learn, but sometimes hard to master.
Play some relaxed missions just for fun, encounter nasty difficulties, or play highly competitive against other players' highscore / ghost. It's up to you.

Gravity Force 1.2 released
V.1.2 (2024-11-20) me: It's only math and C++, what could possibly go wrong? also me: ...well, crap. Added textures. I wanted one color per object. You wanted textures. Long story short: You get textures. Added full support for the immersive viewmode. Now you can "feel" the lack of maneuvering space Added own leaderboards for levels played in immersive mode (two per level: One for "default", one for "relaxed" each) Moved the difficulty switch from the main menu into the missions / races menu Moved the viewmode selectors from the Settings into the missions / races menu Did some cleanup work to the missions / races menu Removed the orthographic viewmode option from the settings Tweaked the lighting when in immersive mode Surely introduced a lot of new bugs we don't know about. For now Fixed some of the spelling and translation errorsRead full article on Community Announcements (Zontemuma)AnnouncementsOfficial
Gravity Force 1.1 released
V.1.1 (2024-11-11) This is a first update after the official launch. We've got a lot of valuable feedback from players that we carefully analyse and put to action. This will surely take some time, but here are the first things we could quickly implement. Some players told us about "strange" behavior of the game they took for bugs. It turns out we failed to make the HUD self explanatory enough. So we added some hints to the user when damages to the ship might inflict the flying behavior. Added warning messages that pop up when sub components of the ship get damaged Added warning sound when sub components of the ship get damaged Added some UI animation to make more clear what is going on More to come...Read full article on Community Announcements (Zontemuma)AnnouncementsOfficial
Gravity Force is here!
What a ride! Gravity Force made it from The first Prototype (back then in UNITY) nearly to a game ready to release. Then Greedy John did his infamous stunt and ruined a whole community. May water run down his sleeves every time he washes his hands. How ever - now we are here. Gravity Force has been re-implemented line by line, this time in Unreal Engine. We are at Version 1.0. Have fun! Added a switch to choose between perspective, orthographic and "immersive" game mode Added a "tip of the day" section to the main menu where (hopefully) useful tips are displayed Added the "Mineshaft" level "Entropy". Now Entropynium is in the game... Added rotating signal lights to the homebase to make it a bit more distinguishable from the landing platform Added some missing localization data Added a white frame around checkboxes in the settings dialogue to increase visibility Re-aranged some elements in the settings dialogue Tweaked the magnets in some "Asteroids" levels to make landing a bit less challenging Tweaked the magnets in the level "Anomaly" to be a bit stronger. Just for fun Moved the "send feedback" button to the main menu. You can still use the F8-key if you want to. Finally fixed a bug in the settings dialogue that prevented newly bound input keys to be displayed without restart Fixed a bug that (in some cases) caused game crashes. Remove a bunch of unused Tick()-function calls and event hooks, which contributes to performance optimization Removed the "delete" button from the leaderboards, as it was kind of buggy. Will come back when fixed Temporarily removed some not yet fully working stuff (spiderwebs, ...) for upcoming updates Spent a lot of time (and I mean **a lot**) trying to fix the downloading of ghosts. Still with underwhelming success. Slightly adjusted the camera offset to not make the camera clip into the cave walls when in immersive mode Swapped the order of the difficulty selector at startup Updated the Steam screenshots to only show content that really...Read full article on Community Announcements (Zontemuma)AnnouncementsOfficial
Beta 0.45 released!
UE Beta 0.45 (2024-10-21) Added the school gym mats... erm... I mean passive impact absorbers for the first training missions Fixed an error not displaying UTF-8 player names correctly in the leaderboards. That one was really annoying. Did even more minor bugfixes and tweaks "under the hood"Read full article on Community Announcements (Coffeeshock-Studios)AnnouncementsOfficial
Beta 0.43 released
UE Beta 0.43 (2024-10-17) Added the level Asteroids level Agoraphobia (actually added it in 0.42, but forgot to tell about it) Fixed the menu not remembering the selected level if the name contains blank characters Added a modal difficulty selector at startup of the game Experimented with reactive armor for the caves, also known as school gym mats. Will come soon. Reduced the number of entries displayed per page in the leaderboards Researched for the root cause of an error in the settings dialogue. Still in progress...Read full article on Community Announcements (Zontemuma)
