About the Game
A new adventure set in the beloved Placid Plastic Duck universe!
A Genre Mashup
A surreal, story-driven adventure with a sprinkle of card battles and deck-building mechanics.
A blend of adventure-game and RPG-lite elements, with multiple-choice dialogue and beautiful, old-school top-down pixel art.
A Story of Friendship
You are Zoi, a teenage girl on a mission to make things right with her best friend. To do that, you’ll have to enter the regional card tournament and win the grand prize.
The only problem is… well, you’re not very good at cards. Or rather, you’re really bad. Actually, you don’t even know the rules!
Card Battles Along the Way
At a few key moments, challenge and defeat eccentric and evil characters, each with their own unique deck, to move forward in your quest armed only with a deck of ducks!
These encounters move the story forward, but playing them is entirely optional: if cards aren’t your thing, you can skip the battle, take the win, and continue your adventure.
Explore the world, search for additional cards, and expand your deck. The ducks hide in the most surprising places… but they love you. Your collection will follow you until the end, and maybe even beyond.
Multiple Endings
Big decisions await you along the way. Choose your answers. Stick to your values. Let the future unfold.
The universe of Placid Plastic Duck Simulator is expanding.
The ducks are going on an adventure.
Join them.

OUT NOW! Placid Plastic Deck - A Quiet Quest
Dear duck friends, The day has finally arrived: Zoi’s adventure begins now! We’re celebrating with a song and a video ːcoolduckː. Check it out: The ducks have come a long way since the release of Placid Plastic Duck Simulator in 2022. It’s only thanks to all you duck aficionados that we’ve been able to expand the duck universe so much. And this is far from the finish line. We plan to keep showing love to you and the ducks with more games, more expansions, and new ideas to deepen and expand our worlds. Speaking of more duck content, we have a vague idea of what we’d like to add to Placid Plastic Deck in the future, but it all depends on how it's received and on your feedback. Some possibilities are: More card battles, with additional characters to challenge throughout the adventure. A card-battle-only mode, letting you replay matches whenever you want. A higher difficulty option, offering more variety and greater challenge. But that’s for later. For now, we hope you’ll enjoy this new duck game at least half as much as we enjoyed making it. ːpartyduckː ːcoolduckːRead full article on Community Announcements (turbolentogames)AnnouncementsOfficial
