About this game

You are a Caller, specialized in summoning minions to attack foes and gain power that will allow you to become an infamous summoner of the Old Gods.
Created by someone who loves ARPG and RTS where you take control of Necromancers, Warlocks, Demonologists, and Summoners, Hear My Cult gives you the spells to strategically command your summoned minions and achieve greater power in the dark fantasy world of Altherra.

The Old Gods left many treasures in the land of Altherra for You to collect. Acquire hundreds of cards that will allow you to create your customized army of soldiers, demons, spell casters, and more units.

This is a real-time ARPG - Strategy game, but don't worry about microing in real time... you can slow down the time at any moment to strategically have a view of the battlefield and decide which units to send to a certain enemy and which spells to cast. This makes strategic decisions more accurate and gives you the
time to think.

ARPGs and RPGs usually don't give you much control over your summoned units. In Hear My Cult you have RTS-like controls to strategically move your units in the area around the Caller, combining this with Time Control will give you all the ability to make strategic choices on the battlefield instead of just dragging around a horde of minions.

There are 6 elements to choose from: Fire, Water, Ruin, Life, Earth, and Storm. You can make a full deck on 1 element or mix and match to achieve even stronger builds. Choose the elements that reflect your playstyle the most.
By being completely free of customizing your summoned army through personalizing a deck of elemental cards, feel free to mix the elements and attack your foes with Magma Golems, empowered by demonic rune magus while flanking your enemies with infernal dogs.. or destroy them with an army of poisonous zombie frogs with ice-darts throwing tribals healed by a forest shaman... the choice is yours.

Hear My Cult — Progress Update (New Zealots and Calamities)
Hear My Cult — Progress Update: New Zealots & CalamitiesHello, Callers. The Cult keeps evolving.I've been working on making the battles of Hear My Cult more chaotic, varied, and unpredictable—both by expanding the types of followers you can command and by making the world itself fight back.Today I want to show you two systems that will be part of the final game: new specialized Zealots and biome-specific Calamities.New Zealot TypesYour Cult is growing, and so is the variety of followers willing to die for it.Alongside the existing Zealots, I'm introducing several new specialized archetypes with very different roles on the battlefield. Some of the new followers include:Revenants: Extremely slow, otherworldly Zealots capable of dealing devastating damage when they finally reach their target.Purifiers: Explosive followers carrying bombs into battle and bringing destruction directly into enemy ranks.Assassins: Specialized killers designed to quickly hunt down and eliminate priority targets. they cost Aurums for every hit they take.Fanatics: Aggressive Zealots built to throw themselves directly into the chaos of battle.Martyrs: Heavily protected followers capable of drawing enemy attention away from the rest of your Cult.Confessors: Support Zealots that stay behind the frontline and heal the Prophet during battle. These join the already existing specialized followers such as Ritualists, Immolators, Brutes, and Summoners. The goal is to make your Cult feel less like a mass of identical units and more like an actual army—one whose composition can dramatically change how you approach each run.The World Fights Back — CalamitiesBut your enemies aren't the only thing you'll have to worry about.I'm also introducing Calamities: dangerous environmental events that can occur during levels and change depending on the biome you're exploring.A battlefield might suddenly be struck by Acid Rain, forcing you to adapt while the fight continues.Elsewhere, Eruptions may tear through the battle...Read full article on Community Announcements (FrogTrain Studio)Patch NotesOfficial
Hear My Cult — Progress Update (New Roguelite System)
Hear My Cult — Progress Update (New Roguelite System)Hello, Callers. The Cult has learned.I've been reworking one of the biggest parts of Hear My Cult: the progression system during each run. The goal is simple—make every run feel more unique, more strategic, and more satisfying.New Zealot TypesYour followers are no longer all the same.As you level up, you'll now be able to unlock specialized Zealots, each changing how your army behaves.Current archetypes include:Ritualists: Long ranged Zealots that will attack from a distance with vile energy.Immolators: Self-Destructing Zealots that will target a group of enemies and explode on impact.Brutes: Slower but heavy-hitting ZealotsSummoners: They have the ability to spawn more zealotsEach brings new strengths (and weaknesses) to your cult, allowing you to build very different armies from run to run.New DoctrinesYour cult can now embrace powerful Doctrines.During your run you'll be able to choose doctrines that reshape your playstyle, granting unique bonuses and encouraging completely different strategies. Some doctrines may focus on overwhelming enemies with numbers, while others reward sacrificing followers, empowering elite units, or supporting a more aggressive Prophet. They're designed to create meaningful decisions rather than simple stat upgrades—and I'll be expanding the system with many more doctrines over time.A More Meaningful Level-Up SystemThe roguelite progression has also been redesigned.Instead of simply becoming stronger, each level now pushes you toward different strategic choices, whether that's improving your cult, expanding your army, or unlocking new powers. The idea is that no two runs should play exactly the same.I Need Your FeedbackThis system is still evolving, and now is the perfect time to try it.If you enjoy army-building, experimenting with different combinations, or finding broken synergies... I'd love to hear what works, what doesn't, and what you'd like to see next.Every suggestion helps shape...Read full article on Community Announcements (FrogTrain Studio)Patch NotesOfficial

The Alchemist SwampsHidden deep within disease-ridden wetlands, Apothecaries and Alchemists conduct their experiments far from prying eyes.Strange fevers spread through the fog.Mutated creatures roam the marshes. And every potion carries a price. The Verdant GardenA place where nature has grown beyond all control.Every tree is alive.Every root listens.Every flower watches. The Garden appears beautiful from afar, but its endless biomass conceals countless dangers waiting beneath the leaves. The Desert of Saej EnarAn ancient wasteland where the corrupted winds never cease. As shifting sands uncover forgotten ruins, relics of the Old Gods slowly emerge from beneath the desert floor. Some treasures should remain buried.Others were never meant to be found at all.A Larger WorldEach biome introduces its own enemies, atmosphere, lore, and secrets. Some will challenge your army. Some will challenge your faith. And some may reveal truths about the Old Gods tha...Read full article on Community Announcements (FrogTrain Studio)Patch NotesOfficial
