Karting Superstars is a charming racing game that captures the exciting and competitive world of karting. Inspired to condense the thrill and beauty of racing, we've dedicated our love, time, and craft into this new game that builds on the celebrated taste of Circuit Superstars.


Compete across a variety of game modes, from single player experiences VS a dynamic AI that adjusts its difficulty to your skill, to online multiplayer races with friends or players around the globe. Master your racing line and learn to leverage drafting to leave your opponents in the dust.

What Karting Superstars offers

• Tactile physics model that feels accessible while presenting a high-skill ceiling for you to explore.
  
• Kart & driver customization to look absolutely incredible on the race track.
  
• Race against up to 12 players from around the globe in online multiplayer, currently we don't have collisions on, but we are working on it!
  
• 6 tracks and 16 different layouts.
  
• Practice and score your best times across a variety of tracks in Time Trials. Put your name on global leaderboards and drive with the ghosts of your friends or the world's best.
  
• Compete against a dynamic AI difficulty that can grow with you. The sky is not even the limit!
  
• Compete with AI drivers in race events and tournaments of your own design in Kartcore mode.
  
• Race versus global ghosts that let you see how players around the world are tackling each track. You can also learn your friends best tactics!
  
• Re-watch your races, see your epic overtakes or study your racing lines and those of your opponents using Replays.
  
• Use replay cameras to watch your races from different angles and record epic moments to share.

  An update from OFG

  Dear drivers,You haven't had any news about Karting Superstars (KSUP) in well over a year, and we haven't updated the game since Feb 20th, 2024. Why not? The short answer:We're a very small team that can only work effectively on one game at a time, and we had to pause work on KSUP because it wasn't going to pay all of our expenses on its own. We'll get back to KSUP when we can, but we don't yet know when that will be. The long answer:We paused development on KSUP at the beginning of 2024. At that time the income from our games wasn’t enough to sustain our team, so we pivoted to doing work-for-hire that would allow us to stay afloat while we looked for the next right opportunity, which came later in 2024 in the form of iRacing Arcade, which we’ve been working on ever since. Our goal at Original Fire Games is to create outstanding arcade racing games. We loved building Circuit Superstars (CSUP) and, while KSUP hasn’t yet received enough of our time to be a finished product, it remains our intention to come back to it with the skills and resources we've developed since its development was paused. As a small team, we need to focus on one game at a time. It is how we ensure anything we make is done to the quality standards that we have for ourselves. We hope that the choices we’ve made to create an economically sustainable studio allow us to return to finish KSUP in the near future. We want to close by expressing a big thank you for playing our games, and a special thank you to those of you who bought KSUP in Early Access. In this current state, the feature is playable, however, there are still UX & UI improvements we need to do, which will be our next area of focus.   Hello, drivers! We have a quick patch today with the following changes to Karting Superstars - Numerous improvements to German localization - Thank you to the wonderful community member known as Dremet (creator of CSUP.APP) for helping us with these. - The duration of "Waiting for connections" in online multiplayer has been increased to 60 seconds to give players enough time to get into the match. - Pausing during a screen fade in a race will no longer cause the fade to get stuck. - Fixed numerous small instabilities.   EA Update 1.0.5: Netcode improvements, online collisions and Aero-duck system.

  Hello, drivers! We’ve released Patch 1.0.5 for Karting Superstars! For this patch, John has put a lot of effort behind improving the general online experience of Karting Superstars. A lot of you will be excited to hear we have added collisions to online play; we’re looking forward to hearing what you think! On the gameplay side, Alberto worked on creating the Aeroduck 🦆 system, previously referred to as Human DRS. This system was inspired by Alberto's and Carlos' karting experience, we all believed this was a great addition to the strategic depth of KSUP. Here’s what is new on the patch: 🟣New Aeroduck 🦆 gameplay system Your driver can now duck to draft. This resource can be used strategically to gain marginal advantages or pass other drivers at the right opportunity. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44545660/ed984717db2c53cf228bad413f4ffc8f3018994b.gif 🟣 Improved online driving experience. 🟣Collisions are now permitted in online races. 🟣Reduced load times in general, and in particular when two consecutive races happen on the same track. 🟣Removed vehicle select. You now automatically use the livery you last selected in the garage. 🟣Online races now have a driver showcase as you wait for players to join the race!
