  Astronomic Games - Nov 2025 update

  Greetings once more. It's been about a week now since the release of Cold Verdict 3. With the Cold Verdict series complete, I'm now focusing on the currently unnamed post-apocalyptic sci-fi project (some of its screenshots and information of its theme and mechanics have already been mentioned in previous updates this year).The work on that sci-fi project has already been happening since late last year. It happens in a near future, post-apocalyptic setting, with most events occurring inside an underground hideout where our main character is a volunteer for an experiment. This visual novel will play similarly to Interim Crossroads in that it will have choices with consequences, relationship building, and character stats to keep track of during the game's events.I have been pondering on one aspect of it for a while though and decided it might be best to gather community feedback on it. The aspect in question is the inclusion of 18+ erotic content. Up to now, my previous games with this content have been "Holiday with Gwen", "Astronomic Date" and "Interim Crossroads". I've been carefully watching and reading feedback on those. It is an element that many players like, but also I noticed that majority of players weren't really happy with the way this content was executed in these three games, with the main critique being that it's too tame and softcore and not explicit enough. My personal decision is that I do not wish to include erotic content that is too detailed in my games, because that really isn't what these games are centred on. Even a game such as "Astronomic Date" was more of a dating and romance sim, and the erotic content was more of a bonus that was meant to spice up the dates.With the current sci-fi game being very focused on non-romance aspects of the plot, like "Interim Crossroads", I've been considering if erotic content is necessary at all.   Cold Verdict 3 store page and ETA

  Hi all. Cold Verdict 3 Steam store page is now live, so you can browse the screenshots, read the description, and wishlist the game. It is currently planned for release on the 27th of October and we'll once again participate in a new ordeal that the mysterious masked man has for us. Trailer will go up sometime closer to the release date too.

  Development update on upcoming projects

  Hello everyone!It's been a while since the last announcement, so here's an update on how things are. In the last announcement, I mentioned that two VN projects were already in the works. Development on both is still ongoing. Below is a bit more information on each one.Cold Verdict 3This will be the third and final part in the Cold Verdict series. (PS: The first Cold Verdict is currently on a discount at the time of this update, so might be a good time to get it if you haven't yet)Cold Verdict 3 will be roughly the same length as the first two instalments and will be priced about the same. All of the story points and questions from the previous two games should be concluded and resolved in this one. At the moment I'm aiming to release it sometime near the end of the year.Post-apocalyptic sci-fi project that currently still has no definite nameA lot more work has been done on this one over the last few months. As mentioned in the last update, this one will be a bigger game than Cold Verdict 3 and at least as long as Interim Crossroads. This story will involve relationship building, choices with consequences, character stats to keep track of, multiple endings, as well as a choice to play as either a male or a female main character. The choice to play as male or female is not just cosmetic here. The intention is to provide a somewhat different experience, where characters will treat you differently depending on whether you're male or female. This means some dialogues will differ, some scenes, romance options, and even some of the endings. There's no definite title for this project yet, but this will come later on in development. The release date for this one will most likely be in early 2026, so it should hopefully not be a long time after Cold Verdict 3 release when this one will also be out. Also keep a look out for more development updates in the coming months.For now, I hope you enjoy some screenshots below from this project.

  Projects for 2025

  Hi all! I would like to share some information on the new projects that are planned for this year and on which the development is already ongoing. There are two projects planned for this year (depending on the development time, one might be pushed back onto early 2026, but that remains to be seen). The first one, the shorter project, is as was mentioned before, the final 3rd part to Cold Verdict series which will serve as a conclusion to the story. Another familiar face from the first game will now return in this one... {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44545943/4bcff9b719529106888b1d32bf57596e2fde68e5.jpg The second project, which will be longer and bigger, is going to be set in a post-apocalyptic near future world, mainly taking place inside an underground sanctuary. We'll play the role of a volunteer for a gene therapy experiment to make humans able to survive in the new world. Similarly to Interim Crossroads, this VN will have some character stats to keep track of, which will unlock some new options during the in-game choices. Another major element in the story-telling here is that we'll get a choice of our main character being male or female at the start, and this will have an effect on how others will treat you, as well as the available romance options, and even some endings will be possible only with either male or female.
